Superb setting with very attentive waiters, with nothing too much trouble.
The meal was excellent as was the wine.
Would definitely re-visit.

Beautiful restaurant .. fabulous views from the terrace.
The waiters/service was excellent! We opted for the tasting menu which was €70pp. Pricey but delicious!
7 or 8 courses so a lot of food but every course was better than the previous.
I didn't fancy the lamb off the tasting menu so they changed it for fish no problem, which was great.

We would definitely return here again!

We stayed at the Covo Dei Saraceni Hotel in late September, 2016. During the course of our stay, we took a cooking class in their "small" kitchen and saw up close how the food is made.

We enjoyed the fruits of our labors later at lunch. During the course, we found that every single item served at the restaurant and at the breakfast buffet at the hotel was made in house. From the sumptuous breads, to the pasta, pizza (yes, the bistro downstairs serves the best pizza in the city) and pastries, it's all made here. It's truly amazing that nothing is brought in.

The artistry used in the creation of the food is second to none in Positano. We dined at the Chez Black, rated close to number one in town and it was delicious, but we feel the Covo restaurant is better in all regards except the meat dishes.

If you are in town, do not miss this gem.

We visited on a Thursday night just before 8pm, without a reservation, and got the last table in the front row of the terrace. If you have your heart set on this restaurant I would recommend a reservation as it was busy.
Lovely views, close to the sea and an attractive terrace setting. There is also indoor seating. The staff were amazing! Attentive, professional and friendly.
After a glass of Prosecco each, we both got the seafood tasting menu. The food was fresh and delicious. It was 5 courses, but also included a small welcome from the chef and a little palate cleanser before the dessert. Lovely tastes and generous portions. Great wine list. We enjoyed our dinner with a couple of bottles of a lovely, crisp Pinot Grigio.
Fair pricing considering all factors. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a meal whilst in Positano.

Comfortable lunch. Wished the service had slowed down. We had time to wallow! Wonderful service. We shared a tomato and mozzarella salad and my husband had ravioli and I had clams and mussels. Very good wines and coffee. Only the shared lemon cake not to my liking: it was not what I expected as it was creamy and not a cake but that's how it comes. Yes I definitely recommend. Everything is expensive with our exchange rate at the moment
