This is a very special restaurant and an absolute must to add to your itinerary if staying in Positano.
Their shuttle picked us up at our hotel and we enjoyed a gorgeous scenic drive to the restaurant perched on the cliff. Already the view justifies the price! The family which own the place cook, serve and are super friendly as well as informative.
Wine, water and several Italian courses were served throughout the evening - family style. Be sure to pace yourself for the never ending array of foods presented on beautiful plates.
Finish the evening with sweets and limoncello. Ahh, la dolce vita!!!

Don't get me wrong, they serve a nice Italian "home-cooked" meals and for us it was even a great escape from the standard dishes that are on every menu. However looking at the reviews here, you might get too high expectations! We didn't and were therefore also not disappointed. Yes, some dishes were very basic and yes the mixed grilled with various meats was not very special, but the antipasti, pasta and atmosphere made up a lot. Not sure whether it's worth the 35 euro's but if you are not too critical this is a nice place to try.

We went to this restaurant on our last night, I had made a reservation online as it is always very busy. They provide a shuttle bus from your hotel in positano but as we were just 5 minutes away we walked.

We arrived to a lovely setting, a beautiful view and a cosy, friendly atmosphere. As mentioned in other reviews everyone is served the same 4 course meal with a choice of red or white wine and water for a flat rate price pf 35 euro each. The anti pastas were lovely and full of flavour, a selection of pastas which were yum then onto a plate of meats (which I wasn't so keen on but Im not a big meat eater) dessert was just what was needed to feel stuffed! Lemoncello to finish was just fab.

Couldnt have had a better experience and meal as we did here. Yes its not "fine" dining but they are not claiming to be. Enjoy it for the great meal it is. If you want overpriced small portions then go to the many other places in positano. :)

My husband and I had such a great experience here. Pepe, Salvatore and Rinaldo made us feel like family and the food was delicious. We enjoyed ourselves so much the first night, that we went back again the second night, and again were not disappointed. If you are visiting the area we would recommend you to experience it and hopefully you can be there on the night they have the live singer because she was amazing and a lot of fun! You don't have to worry about the fact that there is no menu, what ever Mamma and Papa are in the kitchen cooking it will be great and worth it to enjoy!

From the moment the host welcomed us to his home to the time we left, we had one of the most fun times at a restaurant. On top of that, every bit of food was amazing.
