Bring your appetite to this fabulous eating establishment. It sits high above the town of Positano and has a fantastic view. You will be wined, dined and entertained! The value you get for this meal is one of the best I have ever run across! I am not sure of the exact number of courses we were served but every dish was flavourful right down to the desserts. if you are visiting the Amalfi Coast head to La Tagliata. This is a dining experience you will never forget!

We stayed in Positano for 5 nights and saved the best til last. 2 nights ago on our last night we enjoyed dinner at La Tagliata. What an experience, what an Italian culinary journey. The location is unbeatable with outstanding views, the meal was an Italian feast- it's true what they say- it truly does just keep coming, the price is very reasonable for what you are given, and the family warmth and service is exemplary. I could go on and on but I won't. Just go and experience it for yourself. You have no excuse not to if staying in Positano as they will pick you up and drop you back to your hotel- an incredible evening.

We had a large group of 12 people who wanted to do a cooking class. Even though they had never done a class for more than 6 people, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. And it was not only the best meal we had (on a trip filled with amazing meals), it was one of the best experiences of the whole trip.

After we prepared the meal with their very friendly and informative staff, we were given a tour of their wine cellar where homemade cured meats were hanging and limoncello aging, then we sat down for an amazing meal that last 4 HOURS!

After we ate, as much as we could, of what we had prepared in the kitchen, they kept bringing out more and more specialties that they wanted us to try. The food just kept coming and coming. We were laughing hysterically with each additional dish that came out thinking, "there's no way we can eat all of this!" Then after eating a ton and drinking just as much great wine, they put a huge bottle (at least a liter) of limoncello on the table and told us we couldn't leave until we finished it. Somehow we did!

It was the authentic family-run restaurant where they are proud of their food and want to share it with their guests that you dream of when you come to Italy. All of this, saying nothing of the fact that you're in an amazing location high on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean. You have to, at least, eat at La Tagliata when you're on the Amalfi Coast. And if you can, do the cooking class, too. You will get way more than what you pay for and memories to last a lifetime!

We went to this restaurant after it was recommended by people we met in Positano. It was like eating my grandmother's leftovers. Yes, there was a lot of food, and I suppose people who have never experienced a family-style meal with a multitude of dishes might enjoy the experience, but the quality is terrible. It's not even that cheap. Having unlimited quantities of bad food and wine is just not worth it. The atmosphere was similar to a tourist bus stop.
We had lovely dinners at Lo Guarracino and Cafe Positano.

All the reviews on this restaurant are spot on. This place gives you all you could need for a good night out. Great food and a personal service. This is a must visit if in the area and try and go while it's still light as the views must be amazing.
