A group of six of us were brought to La Tagliata by our tour guide Fulvio (Benvenuto Limos). He said that out of everything we do today we will remember the lunch the most and he was right. This was an Italian experience that anyone coming to Italy would die for. The food was all home grown including their homemade wine. Everything was wonderful. The view was also a highlight of this lunch, it was breathtaking. I'm stunned by some of the negative reviews. All I can say is don't believe them. You will not regret coming here for the best Italian meal of your life.

Great dinner-raining but lovely. Food was perfect, loved the Farmer's Soup, and the service was great!

This place is awful! If you have gone all the way to the Amalfi Coast to experience the culture and the food, Do Not Stop to Eat Here!
They cater to unsuspecting Americans.........Old Country Buffet style. Ugh..... There was nothing authentic about the foods of the region here. They heard you in like cattle. The food was horrible.
Sure "mama and her family are nice" but that's about it. If you like overlooked vegetables, horrible wine, and meat cooked beyond recognition, this is the place for you.
Surrounded by the beautiful waters off the coast of Positano there are so many wonderful restaurants to choose from......Next2, Cafe Positano, and Il Ritrovo to name a few......
Don't waste your time or money here. Please!

I am a travel agent and have eaten here four times. I have taken families, couples, and groups here and every time has been amazing. The restaurant is family owned and the food, service, and "View" is out of this world. You pay a set price and they keep bringing the courses. If you visit Positano, you must eat at La Tagliata...Say hello to Peppino, he will take great care of you.
