“Good!”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

All over very good, both pasta and fish. The nice and smiling young man was learning waitering and very good so! The slim lady at lunch lacked smiling and was a little downside for the place.

“Popular spot on the road downtown”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

We happened onto Bruno while walking from our hotel downtown. We had a glass of wine outside across from the main restaurant at a few tables that overlook the scenery of Positano. The wines by the glass were good and reasonably priced, so we returned for dinner. The inside walls are adorned by pictures of primarly young American celebrities that have recently dined at Bruno. The decor is simple, and the food is typical of the local cuisine. Seafood is the primary choice, although other dishes are available. The food was very good, the service was friendly, but reminders were required for things requested on the prior visit to the table. All in all, a good dining experience at a local family run establishment. Worth a visit to sip wine and look at the cliff scenery at a minimum.

“Delicious”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

Antipasto di mare was great, as was the pasta with fish and aubergine. Great grilled seabass too. Free digestivo of finochietto was much appreciated. Will return, thanks.

“Great food & service; but with cockroaches.”
Reviewed March 30, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I were at this restaurant 4 years ago and loved it.

On this trip we were equally impressed by the food and service. Pasta was excellent, service was friendly but there were dead cockroaches in the restrooms - both of them and more than one. While I'd love to say we'll go back, the roaches really put us off.

“Definitely a good Positano option”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

We chose Bruno based on its location in terms of where we were staying in Positano. Although there are lots of eating places, the steep steps and windy roads can make some places inaccessible on foot from where you stay. This was our last night and I think we'd had enough of steps. It turned out to be a great choice, the food was really great and the restaurant full of Italians, which surely must be a good sign! Price wise it was pretty standard for Positano. The wine list is incredible! We ordered by the glass, they serve LARGE glasses of wine!
