This family run restaurant has it all--great food, great service, convenient location. We just spent a week at Villa Azurra and ate there three times! Teresa, Daniel, Mary Lou--they all took great care of us. The food is reasonably priced and you can eat outdoors. The spaghetti with clams--the best. Their limoncello isn't too sweet, which makes for a nice "dessert!"

This place is an absolute MUST. We at lunch here after reading the trip advisor reviews and boy were they spot on. This place right just a few hundred feet down the hill from our hotel Posa Posa with a beautiful seating area outside. My boyfriend and I started with the brushetta that was just to die for! the flavors were so intense and the olive oil was just out of this world. For my main entree i had the Prosciutto buffalo mozzarella and tomato plate. It was SO fresh and so filling but light enough where I didn't feel stuffed. My boyfriend had the grilled shrimp and he said it was one of his favorite meals of the trip. Huge prawns just lightly coated in a garlic butter. Our waiter was great, excellent service and we were even brought out complimentary limoncello shots at the end!

We first saw Saraceno d'Oro during the day and were not impressed -- there is no view and the booths are VERY close to the road. When we walked past in the evening, however, the candlelight and customers transformed the restaurant into a spot with great atmosphere. We made a reservation for a specific spot but when we arrived they tried to seat us at a booth beyond the other tables that was on such an angle that sitting through dinner would have been very uncomfortable. When we declined and offered to wait, they provided us complimentary prosecco and had a table ready in minutes (we think they asked someone already seated to move).

The prices were very reasonable and food ranged from good to great. We were also treated to complimentary limoncello and some other appertifs by a charming server.

We stayed 7 nights in Positano and went to 7 different restaurants. This was the best, although the others were all good.

The restaurant is a little bit on the edge of town but it is worth the walk.

We all had different meals but the seafood stood out with the Jon Dorey standing out in particualr.

Very friendly atmosphere. The fish dish was well prepared and tasty but the Pizza Diavola was not good at all. The salame piccante was terrible. The prices are fair (no charge for the bread they put on the table). The traffic can be a bit annyoing if you sit outside.
