“Atmosphere and great seafood”
Reviewed April 7, 2013 via mobile

We came here for the seafood and we were not disappointed. There were four of us. We started with the misto of fresh seafood, squid, shrimp, octopus, mussels and more. We ordered a portion for 3 people and it was plenty. We then shared seafood pasta dishes which were very good but not great. The setting is very nice, the food good and the prices reasonable. I would return.

“One of my favourites in Porto Santo Stefano”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

We have been a couple of time this year, and each time is different from the other honestly the view from the restaurant is fantastic and the waitress are warm and friendly; they usually suggest to you what is best on the day... Lucia the waitress she knows a lot about wine and she delivered a journey through a culinary experience with "Cerretto Blange'" and The selection of Antipasti, which is delicious there are selection of cold and warm, the only thing I did not like were marinated anchovies. "Fabrizio" the Chef made the most tasty "spaghetti Alle Vongole" (With Claims) my Favorited dish of him, would love to eat them again and again, absolutely a great place to celebrate with your friends (I Love to share plates on the tables) and perfect for a romantic meal for two. Enjoy...

“Beautiful location but very rude service”
Reviewed July 20, 2010

As already stated by the other advices, the restaurant is located in a very beautiful creek on the road to Porto Santo Stefano and has a striking view.
Nonetheless this positive aspects are offset by the very rude service and the expensive bill that you'll receive (on a small piece of paper) at the end of the dinner.
There is no menu, the dishes are listed by word of mouth by the waitresses (very young and un-experienced girls) and even the wines have no list and therefore no prices are shown. The result is that at the end the bill is a number written on a piece of paper and it is the expression of the mood of the owner. You could be very lucky or not...
The quality of the food is also random, but I have to say that usually the pastas are tasty - mainly the spaghetti agli scampi, or with vongole - and the antipasti also very good. Avoid the fish since you'll pay it on the basis of the weight which is totally uncheckable and most of all it will be "cleaned" by the girls with the result that more than the half will be thrown away.
Avoid also the desserts, not worth at all.

The restaurant works also for lunch - with the same lacks already stated - and it is also a lido. The sun beds are very close the one to the other and the beach is sometimes full of seaweeds that are not cleaned, with the result that with the humidity and the heat they're full of midges and they also stink.
