Had a great lunch here today in late September sunshine and 28c looking out at an empty beach with most of the chalets closed for the season - we were so glad that the Vela stays open until November. We had the antipasti freddo and salmon carpaccio to start, both delicious with the antipasti plate a real joy - the grapefuit sorbet was the best I have ever tasted and a lovely palate cleaning addition. We followed with calamari fritti and prawns flambed in garlic and brandy with a mixed salad and fried potatoes - all beautifully cooked, and so delicious. With a litre of prosecco, water and coffee the bill was c60€, great value for the quality and fab position - if you just had the pasta which looked great too you could cut down the cost of course. I'm planning on going back at the weekend with other visitors from the uk, it was that good. The staff are lovely, they even speak a little English but were kind enough to listen to my bad attempts at ordering in Italian without laughing at me...Highly recommended, a big notch above most of the beach side places at PSG.
