Very delicious seafood. Fish soup is well known and not by accident. I've heard that if there is no fresh and perfect raw material in the morning on the market then they will stay closed. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Brodetto is something special traditional from the area. The seafood is extremely fresh. Very generous portions best to order one brodetto in two if you are not a big eater.

I had never tried a real Italian "brodetto" (somewhat similar to a Spanish Zarzuela or a fish-bouillabaisse) until we came across "Il Diavolo del Brodetto", just last week. The title suggests that they serve a brodetto, but that is not always true. It really depends on the catch of the day, because if that didn't contain what is needed to make a good brodetto, there will be none... We were lucky! super-fresh, delicious food and various types of fish in a tomato-based soup. Small restaurant with many locals that come and eat here regularly.

I am not a fish lover in any way: in fact, I hardly eat any fish usually. I only make an exception for the grilled fish of il Diavolo del Brodetto, and - from time to time - for their Brodetto.

As pointed out by many other reviewers, the restaurant is small and the facilities basic. It is clearly a family operation with its ups (traditional local recipes) and downs (unreliable service quality).

It has a reputation for only opening when fresh fish is available: advance booking is recommended, because there are very few tables.

The prices are in line with those of any good fish restaurant [almost] on the waterfront in the Marche region: less expensive than a fish dinner in a posh restaurant in Milan ... Twice as expensive than any of the 100s of pasta and grilled meat trattorias further inland from the Adriatic coast.

The restaurant is small and very close to the beach. We went there last year and as it was a bad weather day, they did not got enough fish for the customers. The service was all right and the bill too much for just two meals!
