The apartments are rather worn out and really need some renovation. Lacking of parking spaces for cars. Poor service and frontdesk staffs are not helpful.

When we arrived, the room smelt very moist. The apartment was also very far away from the front desk and the (beautiful) beach. More than 100 steps with a two year old baby is quite far! Even though it was low season, there was unfortunately no other apartment available.
The worst thing was that when the (kitchen) sink from the apartment above ours was used, the water from our sink came up. It is not nice to have the neighbors’ food remains in your washbasin. Twice a day we have mentioned this at the reception. However, the few attempts during our four days stay to fix the drain had no effect. At check out, all they could offer was to skip the cost of the baby cot from the bill.

We were in Costa Smeralda at the end of september and everything was closed! but, on the other hand, we enjoyed staying at the beach with few people around. I Giardini di porto cervo is a complex full of apartments with a very nice view , looking onto the sea. We got a very roomy apartment with a big bedroom, a luxury bathroom, kitchen, living room and a very very very nice balcony where we had breakfast every day.
it's close to a small beach but you need a car to go to porto cervo or to the closer market. Parking is just outside the apartment.

These apartments are ideally situated just a 5 min drive from Porto Cervo.

I was hoping before booking this holiday that we could do without hiring a car and chose the I Giardini for this purpose. In a way, you could do without a car there as the beach is literally across the street and there are a few restaurants....but to have any choice of restaurants, shops and experience other beaches on the Costa Smeralda then you need to hire a car (the hotel organised this for us).

Also we stayed second week in September and it was obvious that in a few weeks time the Costa Smeralda would be virtually closed down...

The apartments are basic but very roomy and really had everything that we were looking for.

We just returned from Sardinia where we had a realy nice holiday. It was just before season has started so it was no problem to get somewhere and the beaches not too overcrowded...you realy NEED A CAR to get somewhere if you want to explore a bit more of the area. Hotel is about 30 min. from Olbia airport. It´s a complex of hotels so if you are trying to find it it´s part of Hotel le palme (the sign is more visible). We stayed in one of the GINEPRI´S appartaments and the view was fabulous!... the perfect atmosfere in the perfect place. We also had dinner in the restaurant and the quality of the food was great. We will definitly return to this lovely place!

We stayed here 2 nights for 77 Eur/night plus 8 Eur/pers for beakfast in a 2-bedroom apartment... Large apartment with nice balcony overlooking courtyard.... 3rd flor and no elevator, so it was quite a climp every time...

Almost everything in the hotel was closed down as it was still off-season... no shops open and pool was cold... Reastaurant was open and breakfast buffet was actually really ok for 8 Eur/pers...

Close to the beach and quite close to actual Porto Cervo, but you need a car as others have said, there is no sidewalks to dont even try to walk... parking was on the road outside hotel, so I´m not sure how that works in high-season...

We booked these apartments through justsardinia.co.uk and received a very good service. Our rep was excellent and gave us load of tips. The Costa Smeralda is beautiful. The apartments are built on the hillside around a small sandy bay and surrounded by beautiful gardens and inland waterways, bridges and fountains.

Our apartment was very well furnished and had a terrace overlooking the bay giving a fab sea view, a terrace at the back and a roof terrace. The kitchen was a bit basic. Fine for lunch and breakfast, but a bit of a challenge to make dinner with just two hotplates! Travel kettle came in handy too! There is no air conditioning, this was Ok most of the time but it was quite hot at night. It would have been nice to have had chairs or sun loungers on the roof terrace but we asked at reception and they said this was not possible.

The area is very scenic. Porto Cervo itself is very glamourous and expensive, but you can find plenty of restaurants around in other areas that are more reasonable. Baia Sardinia is only a 10-15 min drive away and there are some cheaper places there as in Arzachena. There are also plenty of supermarkets too, although you would need a car to get to them. The shops on site at the hotel, were all selling designer bag and clothes and nothing practical like bread and milk!

The beaches are beautiful in this area, Romazzino and Pevero were our favourites. White sand and turquoise sea..

I would definitely love to go back!!
