I enjoyed here holidays with my boyfriend. it was very relaxing, friendly staff and nice service. The hotel is small enough so there's no crowd at the swimming pool.

The breakfast selection is very limited, but lunch and dinner options are really good.

The Villa is located close to the main road so there was noise at day and night (need to keep the windows closed!).

Overall.. Ok

After having stayed at Villa Cappugi we did not feel like going home yet so booked two additional nights at Villa Georgia. A nice small hotel situated in the hills outside Pistoia, so a car is a conditio sine qua non. In arrival we received the pleasant news that we were granted an upgrade. We installed ourselves in one of the deluxe rooms with it's own terrace and a spectacular view on Pistoia and the Tuscan hills.

Very nice big room, which was clean but not spotless as there was quite some dust, which was already there for some while, on the mounted arm of the television.

Poolspace is great and good for relaxing.(if you can ignore the traffic on the road).

The restaurant's terrace view is really stunning. Food (menu) is OK, but nothing spectacular. Perfect if you don't want to drive anymore at night.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant (so also on the terrace) and offers enough variation. If you like scrambled eggs, you can just ask the very friendly staff and they will be happy to help.
Would absolutely return however always for limited stay.

Stayed for 10 days in August. Staff were all very friendly and very helpful. Room was in perfect condition but not perfectly clean. Hotel is at a busy road which is some times less pleasant when you are at the pool side. What bothered us the most is that non residential restaurant visitors were better served then the customers with the half board package (we had to wait :-( ) and the dishes which were served for the non resident were a lot more attractive. Would stay again in the hotel but not for the food.

Stayed for 4 days in June. The staff were all fantastic and very eager to help. Sometimes a little haphazard eg receptionists running the small bar but not knowing how to make a gin and tonic! The superior room was very pleasant although could have benefitted from a set of drawers for clothes as 4 hangers each was all that was supplied in the cupboards . I guess it's Italian not to supply flannels, bathrobe or a kettle .

The hotel was very clean and modem , and breakfast was nice with great coffee and pastries. We never ate there in the evenings mainly because we found it a very soulless dining area with everyone talking in quiet voices and it seeming very serious. We did find a fabulous restaurant about a mile up the hill.

The main issue for us was the road . The hotel is in the S bend of a road which it seems the Italians live driving up and down , especially bikers. This makes it extremely noisy , not a problem in the rooms if you kept the door closed but a constant noise in the garden. While I believe the traffic was worse when we were there due to a bank holiday, Idid attempt to cross the road one day to get to the car park and had to retreat there times! If I had been elderly I have no idea if I would ever have made it!

That said, if you need to be in this area then this is a good hotel.

Room tip: Try and get at the back of the house

We had one night here and it was just what we wanted. The hotel is located on a busy (ish) road however you don't really hear the traffic. We did during the afternoon when our windows where open however we shut them at night.

Hotel is well appointed and good rooms, clean and possibly on the more simple side however included everything that was needed.

Dinner in restaurant was very good and reasonable. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

We would stay there again
