Everything about this hotel was beyond what we expected. Full of art, amazing decor throughout with amazing rooms. The staff, especially the bar tender were a joy. We loved it. No idea why this is not 5star as i will say it is way beyond four star! loved it.

The Savoy Beach Hotel has been a unique discovery.
My husband (Indian) and I (Italian) were looking for a venue in Italy to celebrate our hindu-catholic wedding in 2016. We explored various venues and the Savoy was one of those. We understood pretty much immediately that the Savoy was the right place to celebrate our 3-day wedding.
We were their first destination wedding, with a not-easy mix of cultures to accommodate, but Salvatore Pagano and the entire stuff have been welcoming and happy to take the challenge from day one.
No other place in the world would do what the Savoy has done for us, a real example of excellent hospitality combined with family values and traditions:
- they looked after 350 guests for 3 days for 24hours, with food stations all over the hotel, freshly made pizza afternoon at the beach, indian and italian food for breakfast/lunch/dinner
- they went the extra mile to find for us all the Indian supplies we need to celebrate our hindu wedding
- they were humble and open to accept an indian chef in their kitchen to create fusion food that was overly appreciated by eveyone
- they provided us with services that we had not requested like children entertainment
... but the best thing was that the Pagano family and the entire stuff has celebrated our wedding with us, making us feel part of the family and not guests.

Today, after 3 years from our wedding, we keep going back and every year we see new developments of a family striving for the best for their customers.

The Savoy is real excellence, high quality service, michelin star food and real people.

If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, this is the one venue you want to have!

Stunning place, newly refurbished. Classy indoor style, amazing rooms, and a beautiful space outdoor with a big seating area (and bar) and 2 swimming pools. Friendly, smiling and helpful staff. We had dinner in their restaurant, top class dishes, great combination of flavours and so tasty.
5 stars!

We stayed here for two nights in late September. Overall, we had a nice stay here even with two weddings in two nights. The event spaces are beautiful from the driveway to the hotel lobby to the pool area. Our room was large and comfortable if a little dated. View from our room was nice but slightly marred by being directly over the patio roof but not the end of the world. The staff was friendly and helpful, esp bartender Giovanni and concierge (can’t remember his name). Beach 93 was very pretty but service was terrible, possibly because we were there near closing time. We did not partake of the breakfast. We didn't use the pool because it was a little too chilly and windy, but again, was a very pretty area. About a 10 minute drive to "downtown" Paestum restaurants and ruins. Is it equivalent to a US four star hotel?, no, but as we drove through the area, I don't know that we would have found a better alternative, possibly because we were travelling after prime season but more likely because this is as good as it gets in the area.

We had the fantasy tasting menu at Tre Olivi with the wine tasting. It was a lot of fun and the food and wine were good. That being said, the majority of dishes were seafood (which was fine), but 3 of the 8 courses were desserts, which I thought was too much (and not a single cheese plate). I would have preferred they switched out one of the desserts for a meat dish which would have also allowed them to more naturally pair a red wine with the dinner vice squeezing the single red wine in among the otherwise white wine tasting.

As this was our first stop in our two week Italy trip, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to stay here for a few nights, but that's about all the time you would need. I don't regret a euro we dropped on the hotel or dinner, but it was a little pricey for the value.

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds but the emphasis is on weddings . We stayed for a week in early September and there was a wedding every day ! This meant that the hotel was taken over by wedding guests and the car park full of cars. As hotel guests we felt we were intruders at a wedding reception and did not feel at ease using the pool and hotel facilities. Indeed we were encouraged and expected to go to the Beach Club which was 200 metres away. The Club is very good with restaurant, pool and beautiful sandy beach. However the pool at the hotel stands there almost forlorn with the sun loungers moved into the corner and the pool bar unmanned . In addition we were expected to pay a charge for beach towels which is something we are not used to doing in the usual beautiful hotels we visit . The Tre Olivi is an excellent restaurant but very expensive. If you are staying for a week you need an alternative. The Beach Club restaurant closed on the last few nights of our stay which was disappointing. There is a new manager who is aware of these problems and I really hope things might change but in the meantime If you are expecting the use of facilities of a usual 4 * hotel and want to feel valued as a guest I would recommend you choose a different hotel. Our stay was expensive and we did not feel we had value for money.
