This restaurant makes a big issue of sourcing produce locally, from farm to table. The food presented, however, was neither special nor unique. The first course portion of umbrichelli was smaller than what we would normally expect from a restaurant in Orvieto. The tagliata was much too chewey. The salt cod was a bit expensive for what was presented but it was very tasty. We received two large baskets of bread, some of which the server defined as home-made, but we have always found that when we are offered loads of bread at the beginning of a meal the portions of the meal itself are smaller-than-average and the bread is to fill you beforehand and that was the case here.
