Spent two nights in the charming and beautiful town of Orvieto and Giulia's B&B was the ideal place to stay. Giulia was a delightful and friendly host and her good english was a bonus with communication as our Italian was basic. We booked the suite room which was on the highest level of the B&B. The room was huge with timber floors, high ceilings and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also large and included a spa bath and rain shower over the bath. Breakfast was in the kitchen/dining area on the ground floor and was ideal for a good start to the day.
Giulia made recommendations for dining and we were particularly impressed with Trattoria del Moro where we had a delightful dinner. Just around the corner from the B&B is Cafe del Corso where we enjoyed snacks and coffee and can recommend.
Orvieto is a beautiful town and while we were there it was flower festival time with many shops and residences displaying spectacular flower arrangements. A walk around the perimeter of the town provided spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed Orvieto so much that one of us stated they could happily live here.

Room Tip: The Suite room as described.

This B&B is great, and Giulia is an exceptional hostess! Practically the minute we arrived she secured us lunch and dinner reservations at 2 of the best places in town. The room was cute and clean, and it had the nicest bathroom of all the places we stayed on our entire trip. Orvieto is a charming town, and I can't think of a better place to stay when visiting than Sant'Angelo 42!

This B&B is excellent. It's charming, beautifully restored, tasteful, and very affordable. Giulia is very sweet and helpful and she gave us excellent recommendations for food and things to do around the area. We hope to return some day and cannot recommend it highly enough.

We rented the suit for a weekend in May for a family of two adults, and two kids. The place was very clean, beautiful decoration and the location was really good in the old city of Orvieto. Giulia helped with good recommendations for food, parks with kids, a very good ice cream and any other issue we had. Orvieto is charming and we spend there a really lovely weekend with the kids. Recommended.

We were checked into the hotel by Guilia who speaks good English and was friendly enough but left after we checked in so we were on our own with any issues that raised. We asked her if there was a English channel on the TV as she was leaving and she said yes but did not know which one. We never could find any and we did not see her again until morning. My niece and I were never able to connect to the wifi in the "lobby" area which was the only place it "worked". Again she was not around to troubleshoot with us. The room was spacious, clean, and the beds comfortable, we slept well. It is a good location also. The bathroom is huge and we were happy there was a large jacuzzi tub although it was hard to figure out how to use it. The breakfasts were adequate, not as good as others we had in Italy. Overall this is a nice B & B but be prepared to be on your own for most of your stay.......There is no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor which was a bit difficult for my 78 year old mother.

Room Tip: There are only 3 rooms we had the triple, it was large and had 2 balcony areas.
