Our one night stay at Casa Selita was simply wonderful! The room was delightful, the breakfast was delicious and Selita was very helpful and lovely. The location was great, as we simply walked up to Orvieto. I would recommend this delightful B&B to anyone! Thank you Selita!

We stayed here as our first stop in a 6 week tour through Italy and France. I thought we'd done a review but can't see it anywhere on Trip Advisor. Anyways...this was the perfect entry into Italy. Only a short drive from Fiumicino and bang, into the Dolce Vita. We loved Orvietto - the San Brizio chapel with work by Signorelli is a wonderful example of religious iconography. One of the best. The trip to Civita di Bagnaregio was amazing - an Etruscan perched village. Nothing else like it I've seen (lunch down in the cave at Alma Civita is a must.

But Selita - your amazing breakfast and those home grown figs! Stupendo!

Thanks to you and Alessandra for your great hospitality and spot on tips for places to go.

Absolutely loved, loved, loved our stay at CasaSelita. The hosts were so much fun as they joined us for breakfast and even for a late night conversation one evening. The room was great, the breakfast was perfect and the small walk up to the city was enchanting. I loved everything about Orvieto and this B&B! Thanks for a great experience!

Our stay at Casa Selita felt homie. The place is beautiful, and the quality of everything from the bricks on the wall, the rooms, the bed, the shower, the homemade breakfast, the scenery and the hospitality was perfect. I will recomend this place to anyone.

Also, Selitas cat is the cutest.

For those traveling without a car, the busstop is at the end of the driveway taking you to the trainstation where you can take the train directly to e.g. Siena or Rome.

Orvieto is definitely worth the visit! it is a small, and cute little Italian town. And we loved it.

We will be back next time we go to Italy.

We stayed in this quaint little B & B on our way from Rome to Tuscany in October. It is a charming little place convenient to the town. Access is a nice way via the road or a challenging path, albeit steep, from the back of the B&B. Really fun. Clean nice rooms. This is run by a lovely couple that are as engaging as you want them to be. Knowledgable about the area, sites and places to eat. He is just plain fun to sit and visit with and she is a real sweetheart. Breakfast the following was awesome and a great way to start the day. We will retire and we will spend more time next time.

I can't say enough about how amazing CasaSelita is. Selita is so helpful and patient.. I say that bc I mixed her up about when we were coming (we had a hiccup in beginning of trip that got our plans changed) so when we arrived a day early she was still able to accomodate us. I was so upset at how I could've not realized, but Selita (& Alexandra) reassured me all was fine. We stayed in the tower rm the first night, which is very tiny.. she realized that (I had asked for a diff rm, but obviously that wasnt avail since we arrived early). She offered to switch us to a larger room the next day at a small cleaning fee ($10).. more than reasonable. the beds are so comfy! the best in Italy we had (and we stayed in 4 different places!)
I will echo all the other reviews about breakfast. it was so yummy and a delightful experience. best coffee we had in Italy!
Selita was very helpful in recommending places to eat & things to do. It rained alot while we were there, so we had to take the long route via the road to get up to the elevator, but that was Ok. Orvieto is a beautiful medival town.. and CasaSelita is the perfect place to stay to see the sights. We trained it in, and Selita let us know easy transportation to get to her place, but opted for a taxi (11 euros I believe) since we had alot of luggage. We really enjoyed our stay here and recommend it to anyone and all who will be coming to the area.

Room Tip: all have patios, which is great. the tower room is very small but has a great size patio overlooking...

Wonderful location (easy walk UPHILL to Orvieto elevator). Beautifully decorated, lovely space - nice sized rooms, great beds etc, outdoor spaces. Selita and her husband warm, interesting and interested in what guests have to say. Fresh tasty breakfast - coffee good strong Americano (with hot water if you want weaker), home made bread with olive oil from their olives, meat & cheeses.

Overall a wonderful place to stay - be sure to book early as it fills up even during shoulder season.
