If you are looking for a beautiful, luxurious spot in the Dolomites, this boutique hotel has everything !
Even though we had a "small" room,it was large enough to house a family, and it looked as if it was built this year,it is very well kept. But that is what you will expect when you book a hotel like this
The REAL gem of this hotel is the staff of course:being not too big to get impersonal but big enough to be able to have a wonderful cook and wonderful staff:always helpful with a watchful eye, never obtrusive
We stayed here early june 2012 and even though it was quite hot already ,we made good use of the spa because we simply had to,inside and outside pool, and a large spa-area with all kinds of sauna's,not to mention all the treatment rooms they have.
To have a nice walk or hike in the immediate surroundings, enjoy the spa-facilities later-on and have dinner in this beautiful hotel will be a perfect vacation

Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights at the Alpin Garden Wellness Resort last week, and it was absolutely a luxurious, delightful stay.

The hotel staff is wonderful -- Marcus (the owner) makes sure that every need is met. His English speaking staff (mostly Italians and German speakers at the hotel) are all very kind and courteous, and we could not have been more pleased with the service.

Our room was terrific -- a very large room with a large queen sized bed for us, and a separate room with bunk beds for the kids, PLUS a whole separate sitting room as well. We had 2 baths (1 with shower and bath the 2nd with only a toilet and sink), and the room had beautiful views of the surrounding areas, which are as lovely as any I've seen.

The regular rates are "half board", thus including breakfast and dinner. Both meals are absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is a gorgeous buffet of beautiful breads, pastries, meats, cereals, fresh fruit, cheeses, and a cook to prepare any kind of eggs or crepes we wanted. It was the best breakfast of our 3 weeks in Europe, by far.

Dinner was equally terrific -- a 4-5 course meal that was honestly very well prepared, presented and fresh. One night we had choices of 2 different offerings at each course, the second night was a set meal presentation. This can be problematic if someone doesn't happen to like what was offered, but all four of us, including my 11 and 14 year olds, were very pleased. The fresh salad bar (terrific even by American standards) was simply wonderful.

The hotel pools (indoor and outdoor) are lovely, and the spa service was excellent. All in all, I give this hotel a rousing recommendation. It's not cheap, but it shouldn't be either.

By the way, if you are considering a visit to Val Gardena, but aren't sure about it, take our recommendation -- a visit to the Alpe di Siusi is not to be missed. This is as beautiful an area that exists in Europe.

In this hotel everything is perfect! The athmosphere, the staff, lead by incredible owner Marcus who takes care about every single detail, the rooms are cosy and spacious, the food is delicious. All wishes are fulfiled with kindness. Especially those from kids, who sometimes want "ordinary" food for dinner such as pasta, chicken wings etc. Nothing is a problem. If you go there, and you must experience it, do not forget to try their treatments in a very beautiful and modern wellness and spa.
Couples or families, young or old, everyone will be more than satisfied!

We experienced à week with excellent gourmet food and keen staff that did their outmost to make our stay à perfect week. Do not get let down by walking uphills from village center -local bus operates or hotel shuttle works well. Beautiful hikes are easily found and Will last more than à week.

Booked for a stay in low season at 480 eu (677 Us$) ½ board. The door in my suite was missing the frame naking the concrete of the wall (see pict). At my request for room change, the Hotel owner/manager mr. Markus aggressed me with insults urging, all at the same time, me and my family with 2 children to leave the premises (at 9 pm, after long journey), to move in similar room at an additional 200 eu per night, to move in a much smaller room for the same price, to stay where I was for free and to leave the next day. He even ordered his assistant not to provide towels and slippers to my children.
The rest of the personnel was variably professional, some highly skilled, some front-end not even speaking Italian let alone English.
The restaurant is a above average of the mountain hotels: breakfast is varied and nice, dinner sports some “gourmand” combinations. They offer home made cakes in the afternoon so you may comfortably miss the lunch and focus on skiing.
Suites are comfortable. They feature large bathrooms. Furnitures and floors are in white Christmas tree, that yes convey the typical atmosphere of a mountain house (baitone) but also gives the feeling of cheap Ikea (see in pict the “101 dalmatians style” walls) .
Wi-fi was available for a small initial charge. Unfortunately it did not work for 2 out of 3 days of our stay.
A shuttle is provided to and fro Ortisei centre and the ski resorts nearby.
The spa area is gorgeous with 2 heated swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) 3 types of sauna one with a mountain view, and the other usual spa amenities.
