We found this place just because one of the very good brand outlets McarthurGlenn is just few km away.
And now this place is a must at least once a year!
Great old villa, surrounded by ceturies old trees and a nice park for walking.
Everything including rooms are kept according to that century style.
Dont forget to visit their restaurant! It is not Michelin starred, but they serve one of the best risotto Ive triec in Italy.
Cons - no swiming pool, staff is quite week in english.
Great place to combine good shopping with a nice relax!

The hotel is located on top of a hill surrounded by a vineyard. It is about a five minute drive from the Serravalle shopping outlet in one direction and about five minutes from downtown Novi Ligure in the other. Everything about the property was very nice - customer service and how they handled our early arrival, the rooms were well maintained with huge bathrooms and a wonderful balcony facing the vineyards, a michelin star restaurant, cycles on hire to tour around, small wildlife (mostly rabbits) running around the garden...

Nothing but praises for the place. And, it was not particularly expensive - definitely worth the stay and a relaxing getaway from the rushed atmosphere of Serravalle and it's endless shopping options...

Room Tip: Ask for a second floor room with a balcony facing the vineyard.

If you happen to be visiting the McArthur Glen discount shopping mall in Italy and need a wonderful, roomie, place to stay...there's ample room to do an in room fashion show, especially if you get a room with a balcony.

The small staff is attentive and the hotel is situated in a wonderful garden up a hill far from the street. Quiet.

If you need excitement - bring it - you will not find it here.

Room Tip: CHeck if there is a large group staying - it is a wonderful space for group events....if you want quiet.

What a lovely location... we actually missed the spectacular main entrance because our GPS directed us to the hidden backyard entry.

Anyhow, the view from the room's balcony was spectacular and had we had enough time, we would have loved to go on a bicycle ride through the grounds.

The porch and view truly made the room. The hotel was rather old and had a little bit of mildew-odour. I assume it's to be expected in most older European hotels. The bathroom was old as well and one must really bring one's own toiletries as only the bare minimum is provided here.

Bed was comfortable enough. Continental breakfast was serene and quite nice.

I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel during a couple of days, and I must say it is really amazing: the surroundings, the building, the restaurant, the wineyard...and of course the staff, always very helpful and charming. My room was a junior suite, bigger than normal and with a small jacuzzi in the bathroom...perfect to relax after a day of work (they even give you some bath salts)
Don´t miss the opportunity to visit their wineyard and buy some of their wine; Gavi (white)is the most famous, but you can also try some different red wines
