We a group of 15 family friends stayed for a week with Federica, her family and staff in this exquisetly located Agritourisma just outside beautiful Norcia. The hills, mountains and valleys were a mecca for the group who are hill walking enthusiasts. The accommodation and facilities were ideally suited to
the group. The rooms were serviced
every day. The grounds including the
swimming pool were well maintained. The pool proved very popular for tired bodies and feet on return home each day from the treks.
We had dinner in the restaurant on 3 evenings and the menu featured local products which were prepared to order and served by the excellent head waiter well supported by the chef and staff in the kitchen.
Breakfasts were good with a variety of options to choose from.
We enjoyed many evenings of conviviality and hope we did not upset any other guests.
All in all a memorable week in the Sibillini mountains made complete by our stay in this Agritourisma. Harry, Mickie et all.

We are travelling with my elderly parents one of whom is in a wheelchair although he can walk short distances. We found this wonderful place to be friendly warm although the weather was freezing for us and very accomodating. They even had a lift. Paola and her team in the kitchen produced some wonderful local delights. We felt at home the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious and the Castello nel parco is situated just outside Norcia, which is a lovely little town to explore. Paola also told us about Castellucio which we would have never known about if it wasn't for her local knowledge. We saw and played in the snow!!!! We worth the drive. The scenery was amazing. Grazie

Room Tip: Don't rush your visit here

We loved our stay at Casale Nel Parco. Our room was lovely though basic. We were on the 3rd floor so we had a really beautiful view of the mountains. The breakfast was tasty and featured local products. It's super close to Norcia, which is a delight to explore. While the hosts didn't speak English, they did their very best to be helpful and accommodating. We ate dinner at the in-house restaurant one night and it was quite delicious.

Room Tip: The 3rd floor room (I think it was called Salvia) was really nice and it's the only one on that floor so no neighbors!

While the location is fine and the view of the nearby Mountains is lovely, this hotel has serious drawbacks. First is that there is utterly no soundproofing between walls. You can hear your neighbor unzipping a suitcase or blowing his nose. Second, the heat is controlled from the office and the owner isn't pleased when you sense of what cold means differs from hers, and so didn't't turn it on again the second night. We slept with sweatshirts on! Third, we paid in cash for our first night, decided to stay a second night only because we were weary of driving, and where then told, upon departure, that we had not paid for the first night. The old man either is getting a bit senile or decided that since we were so gullible as not to have asked for a written receipt, he would make some extra Euros. We refused to pay what we had already paid, but paid the second night, of course, and departed as dissatisfied customers. After staying in a few more place in Umbria, we also conclude that it is overpriced.
