“We loved it and felt at home!”

We stayed for three nights, but easily could have spent at least a week there. We didn't get to spend enough time just relaxing and enjoying the property, since we had so much to explore in the area. We enjoyed the simplicity, the amazing dinners that Denise prepared, and the hospitality and kindness of the owners. The property is beautiful and lush and a great base for exploring Southern Tuscany. I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to the area. Don't expect luxury, but you will have a simple clean room or apartment and a great time.

Arriving late at night was not a problem and when we saw the house after finishing driving over the dirt road, we knew this place was going to be very relaxing.
The woman receiving us was very kind and showed us to our room, which was clean, comfortable and stylishly furnished. We slept very well, since it was very quiet.
The next morning we had breakfast, which was good. We checked out the pool and surrounding area and it is gorgeous. We felt so at ease.
The women were very helpful and always willing to help us or answer questions.
We only stayed three nights and we regret not staying longer to really experience the 'de-stressing' effect this place can have. We will be back!

The villa is set in a valley that is approximately a 10 minute drive to Montepulciano. Our first room was next to the breakfast room and was dark with an uncomfortable and noisy bed. There is no air-con so we had to leave the window open which resulted in one of the family cats visiting us at 2am in the morning.

The owner showed us an apartment the next day which was much nicer (lighter with an outdoor area) and what I would recommend if you choose to stay here.

The breakfast buffet was very simple and it isn't included in the price. Wi-fi was up and down when we stayed and is only available near the main house - not near the apartments.

The owner was accommodating but there is no obvious sign saying where to check-in when you arrive and trying to check-out in the morning proved a challenge - it took more than 10 minutes to find someone to check us out, so maybe organise a check-out time the day before if you're leaving before 8:30am.

Room Tip: Stay in an apartment.

We were looking for a nice relaxing place to stay between visiting Rome and Venice - and this place was lovely - although the pool was not open as the weather had been bad the previous week. We stayed in one of the rooms.

It was set in lovely countryside away from it all which means you really would need a car, and the town was less than 10 mins away on the car.

The breakfasts were nice, although sometimes it was nearly all gone by 9.30 and there was no way of bringing this to the owners attention. (breakfast 8.30 - 10.30)

We had dinner there 3 nights out of 4, which were great and really good value for money, all home cooked.

My only complaint would be that there was no fridge in the room - this meant we really did have to leave the place for food and drink during the day.

Free wi-fi was a great plus!

We came away with some of the lovely Olive oil and Honey that is produced by the owner.

Eveything you need to make your stay as homelike as possible. All modern conveniences. But the charm of this place is more than that....The location is a beautiful, spacious, park-like setting, with spectacular views. It's a mile from town, but you step through the wroughtiron gate and you are suddenly in a peaceful, exclusive country estate where the family has stepped out, leaving you their treasures to enjoy while you are there,,, pictures on the wall, memorbelia in the cabinets, evidence everywhere that someone selected its renovation (from a centuries-old tower) with taste and fidelity to its roots.

Agriturismo Nibbiano is a most beautiful place in Montepulciano, in the heart of Tuscany. The old farmhouse was modernized, with all the character and charm of the original farmhouse and barn. The property is incredibly gorgeous, surrounded by a vineyard. The trees, the garden, the pool are energizing. They even have the largest rosemary bush I have ever seen. The resident cats share their food with the wild rabbits, who just hang out in the yard -- kids would love that. There are beehives on the property and it was fascinating to watch them doing their busy work on all the flowers around the property. Our room was a double in the old barn, with the brick arch exactly as it is pictured on-line. The owner, Denise, was very gracious, especially since we booked on-line a few hours before arriving while she was out shopping. We met some of the other guests who were staying for extended stays of a week or more, who just loved this place, as well. They recommended a local restaurant for dinner, that was superb, called La Loggetta, where we dined outside and watched a beautiful sunset over Tuscany. Breakfast at the B&B was nice. The B&B was not easy to find, down a long gravel road. The owner is changing the name to "Agriturismo Nibbiano", as there are signs with this name already posted, making it easier to find. The room's A/C worked fine, but was a little loud. The bathroom was modern and nice. There only real negative was that the checkout time was 10am, much too early in our opinion. We would definitely stay here again, but would request a later checkout time in advance.

I have to admit I was disappointed when I entered our room at Agriturismo Nibbiano. Our room didn't look anything like those pictured on the Web site - it seemed like some rooms had been modernized but our's wasn't one of those. We had a room with a double bed and a sofa bed for 3 people. The room was spacious, but the linens and towels were all very worn and dated. The shower had mold stains and a strange pipe with a paper towel or cloth stuffed in it which was slightly disturbing. My other problem was that when we first arrived, we couldn't figure out where to go. No one was around to greet us, even though we had told them our arrival time. When the owner did show up, she was very friendly, but our room wasn't ready (they were still making the sofa bed), and it was all a bit chaotic at the beginning. Also although the Web site says there is Wifi connection, the only place I was told I could get it was in a random spot outside of the restaurant.

The highlights of this place are the pool and the dinner. It was by far the best food we ate in Tuscany. The breakfast was also delicious with homemade cakes, breads, etc. I would definitely go back here to eat; I don't think I would stay here again though.
