This small hotel was clean, light and modern. It was run by a very able and hard working family who would do anything for you. There were many choices for breakfast and everything was delicious. The evening meal if required had to be ordered in the morning to facilitate the individual cooking required and was very good value and just what was wanted after a busy day out. The rooms we had had balconies and air conditioning. Wifi was available and the use of a PC was given for no charge. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel it was excellent value for money and the surrounding area was full of interesting things to do. Nearby restaurants were also excellent.

A great family run business. Mother and son were very gracious, friendly, and helpful. Room was small but very neat, tidy, modern and clean. We only stayed one night but will stay there again as Montepulciano was one of our favourite spots. The owner (son) provided a lap top, no charge, so we could update our travel blog, internet access was very good. Ristorante Tre Stelle was just around the corner, great food ,very popular with the locals. Breakfast was very good.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as a base to visit Siena and small villages. We had a room with a brand new bathroom and a balcony. The breakfast was good but best of all are the 2 sons and mum who run the place, they are very helpful and gave us ideas of where to go, where to eat and even where to park our car. This is the only review I am writing for our 3 week trip to Switzerland and Italy.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel (one of five during our trip to Italy) for 2 nights and were very pleased. The hotel is pristine, modern, friendly staff, and convenient location outside of Siena, a marvelous city. Beds are comfortable, breakfast great, free parking, elevator in quiet, small town area. Family owned and responsive to all needs.

Photos of the hotel showed the place apparently in the dry season. It looks better for real. Ownership very friendly, clientele mixed and friendly, hotel extremely clean, excellently located if you have a car. Actually in the small town of St. Albino, aboutt 6 KM out of Montpulciano. It's less than a block (to the east) off the main highway between Montepulciano and Chianciano. Go slow through the town and you'll see the hotel's sign. Great family-type restaurant, Tre Stelle, around the corner. Super base to examine the hill-towns south and east of Firenze. If ever in that area in the future, I'd be looking to stay there again!

Great hospitality, friendly place and great location to reach nearby wineries. We enjoyed the breakfast selection. We did not know that it is custom in a hotel like this that it is proper to address everyone in the breakfast area when you enter the room.

We noticed the other tables apparently talking about us and then noticed how the next group said good morning to each table and everyone at each table said good morning as well. Our other nights were spent in more traditional and impersonal hotels, so we did not know the custom.

Clean room, they accommodate as many parked cars as possible, it was fine in the slow season. We parked a few feet from the door. One of the two buildings was occupied with guests in December. Safe area as well, very comfortable and welcoming owners / staff.

Walls are not the thickest / soundproof, but everyone seems to respect everyone else to not make too much noise during normal sleeping hours.

I would again return to this hotel. Thanks TripAdvisor members for helping me find this hotel.

We choose this hotel just outside Montepulciano for the comfort and convenience of staying a few days in a modern hotel. The owners, Nicolas, Matteo and their mother have a beautiful hotel with spacious, very clean rooms. The continental breakfast was very good and the brothers and lovely girl from the front desk kept very busy seeing that all their guests were well served. Nicolas and Matteo are full of energy, helpful sightseeing tips and great senses of humor. We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel so called and Nicolas came out to lead the way. It was also great to have free parking. They also serve dinner if you reserve in the AM.
