Heritage-grade luxury with modern amenities. Elegant and cushy interiors. Wonderful breakfast spread and all-day snacks and beverages. Very warm and truly helpful hosts. Very light vibe. Beautiful views of vineyards and countryside while main door is access to main town square under 5 minutes away on foot. Wifi access and speed were a cinch. Certainly helped the Poliziani reputation live up to its name, just as excellent as the region's wine!
The location was great, the room was outstanding. The view from our room was spectacular and the bed was comfortable, but what made Il Tosco stand out was the hospitality of Elena and her mom. Anyone interested in staying in Montepulciano should definitely stay at Il Tosco. Elena's mom provides an unbelievable breakfast each morning, with fresh fruit, fresh baked goods, and and endless buffet of meats and cheeses. We hope to visit Il Tosco again, but for a longer stay next time.
We had a delightful stay at Il Tosco in September. The room was very comfortable & since there are 4 bedrooms & 2 living rooms, we felt like we had our own living room. "Mom" is a great cook & every morning offered fabulous local food. Nice, helpful owners.
Il Tosco was our best experience in Italy on our 17 day vacation. We didn't want to leave! It is centrally located, walking distance to everything. It is cozy with four rooms, elegantly decorated and very high tech. It is an old converted glamorous home, well preserved and spotless. It is family owned and Elena was so helpful in getting us there from the train station, recommendations and just very personal attention. Mama made breakfast each morning: quiches, tarts, pouched eggs, cakes, fruit and cheeses. Everyday was a new experience. She is a great chef and we felt like royalty. I would highly recommend this "b&b" and want to go back now!
the best place in the Toscana. We just love it. Hospitality and luxury join, a wonderful experience. We´ll come back very soon for sure. The city of Montepulciano is amazing and the best restaurants in Italy. It´s worth it.
