Il Tosco is the perfect combination of an Air BNB and Luxury Hotel. With only four rooms in this stately residence, you feel like Elena's guest. You have kitchen and all living space access (amazing pastries baked by Mom, coffee etc,), but can retreat to your modern room for privacy. Breakfasts are a feast with excellent coffee, fresh pastries and eggs cooked to order, if you want. Elena will bring your luggage to your room, and deliver it back to your car. She will also make restaurant, sights and winery recommendations, and will even book a reservation for you. She can arrange to ship your wine purchases home for you. The only negative for us would be spotty wifi in our particular room; however we had enough access for someone on vacation!

Montepulcianco is a charming walled city with great walking, shopping and food. It was a perfect home base for us.

Il Tosco is a true gem that provides everything that one could wish for. It is ideally located at the beginning of the town's main street and the plaza is just minutes away.
Location aside, the service and hospitality are at their very best. Elena provides the most detailed and accurate directions. Her suggestions are based on knowledge of the town and her experience and all of her recommendations are worth taking into consideration. The entire area is broken into small pieces with information what and where can be seen depending on one's interests.
After a night of deep restfull sleep, there is a wonderful surprise waiting for you. The breakfast is absolutelly amazing. Homemade pies and cakes (both sweet and savory) prepared by Elena's mom daily, freshly sqeezed juices, local breads and cheeses are available all and every day.
The entire house is available to everyone at any point of the day or night.
It is hard for everything to be explained in words. Il Tosco needs to be seen to be truly experienced.

Spent 2 nights here during our trip and Alena was fabulous. She collected our luggage from parking lot and brought up to hotel, drove us to a restaurant for dinner and took both us and our luggage to our car at departure, she is a gem!!!.
Hotel is in the old town and has such character, room was very nice and breakfast buffet prepared fresh by Elena's mother each day was wonderful. Free bottle of sine and cookies on check-in and happy hour each evening as well as the ability to help yourself to anything in the kitchen 24/7. Loved the hotel and loved the town, Elena recommended Grotto restaurant for dinner which was wonderful and romantic.
