I live in the area and go often to eat here with my family, selection of international meats available and I always have some from my home country- Ireland! Wonderful fried vegetables and tasty starters.they have outdoor sitting and live music on Wednesdays.perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy a meal. Service is always fast and friendly.

Havig now eaten there 4 times I am convinced this is the best pizza I have ever had (I have been to Naples several times). They also serve a wider menu, in fact you may only get pizza for dinner and not lunch. The staff is very friendly although they do not have the greatest English language skills, we have never had any trouble, including hosting a dinner party for 50 friends!

The place is very charming, and they have a great selection in local wines

Our first night in Tuscany we were looking for a place to eat and heard music coming from down the street in Montepulciano. We walked down to hear where it was coming from and found C'era Una Volta. The atmosphere was so inviting that we stayed. We were glad we did!!! I can't think of Tuscany without thinking of this place. The owner was so welcoming and patient with our horrible Italian and although he didn't speak a lot of English, he made us feel like we were eating at his house. Now the food! The best meal I had in Italy! We went back two more times and each time the food was amazing and the staff was so friendly and made our experience, fun and memorable...but the food!!! And the wine!!! At the end of our first meal they brought us lemoncello. At the end of our second time eating there, the owner poured us grappa shots. The Pici sagu and Pici funghi were my favorites. This is not a tourist restaurant at all. It's clearly where the locals go. They are closed on Tuesday.
