My boyfriend and I also "stumbled" into this restaurant after dining at an overpriced, empty, and not-so-tasty restaurant a few blocks away. We were initially interested in having desserts at the bar, but the owner was so friendly and he insisted we have a seat inside. The restaurant interior was brightly colored and funky (while other reviewers have called this "kitsch", many of the decorations are beautiful, interesting, and no doubt have stories).
We had desserts, cocktails, liqueurs, and coffee. Everybody was enjoying the food as well (cooked by the wife of the owner).
A lovely experience.
