We found this restaurant via the tourism information in Montepulciano to do a Tuscan cooking class during our stay. Although there was a 2 person minimum (my husband declined), the restaurant were happy to continue with the class. Luckily, another couple decided to join. We had a wonderful class with Niccolo, head chef and his assistant Erica.
Niccolo's family also have a vineyard and olive grove in Montepulciano - we took an impromptu visit and it was amazing. They make their own wine, olive oil and salami and use vegies from their garden in the restaurant.
We all came back for dinner that night and were treated to a very special bistecca fiorentina. We had the salami straight from his cellar, drank wine from his vineyard and ate a very big dinner, served to us personally by Niccolo.
We returned to buy olive oil and wine the next day to bring home. Very friendly staff, free tastings and delicious produce.
