We just returned from staying 6 amazing days at Agriturismo Nobile and can not recommend it enough. Stefano, his wife, son and their staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as close to perfect as possible. I have to call out staff member, Anna, in particular. She stayed in constant contact with us leading up to our trip with beautifully written emails detailing the apartment we would be staying in, weather conditions, suggestions on what to do while we there and helping to secure our extra activities. On the night of our scheduled arrival, she stayed late at the agriturismo to be sure to greet us personally. I felt like we had a friend in Tuscany the moment we arrived.
The apartment - We stayed in a lovely 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment called Il Pollaio. It had a master bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with 2 single beds, as well as a living area, fully equipped kitchen/dining area and bathroom. There is also a patio area out front, that overlooks the beautiful swimming pool, as well. The whole place is covered in the blooms of roses, lavender, jasmine, hydrangeas, etc. and has an amazing view of Tuscany. It is a working farm, so there are also vineyards, olive trees and plenty of fruit trees, as well (we had fresh fruit from their trees every morning). It's so beautiful there, words do not do it justice.
There is also a restaurant there, where they serve breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a large variety of fresh cakes/tarts/pies, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, bread, nutella, meats and cheeses, fresh squeezed juice and the best cappuccino I have ever had. We never left hungry.
Dinner is an even better experience, with 5+ courses and wine (for €25 per person). We literally lost count of the courses and had to cry uncle before finishing. Everything is made fresh for each family once you walk through the door. We started with a variety of bruschetta, then move onto a large plate of meats and cheeses. Our primi piatti was homemade pasta with ragu sauce. Our secondi piatti was perfectly cooked steak and side dish. All of this was followed by salad, then fresh watermelon as a palate cleanser, then finally dessert of either gelato or tiramisu with coffee or cappuccino. Everything was delicious a served proudly by the owner Stefano.
While there, we took a cooking class (a very reasonable €55 per person, that also included our meal after with wine). Stefano brought in a local pasta legend who taught us how to make and roll delicious pasta. We then went into the kitchen with Stefano's wife and learned to make 3 different bruscettas and tiramisu and how to properly cook the fresh pasta we'd just rolled. After the lesson, we went straight to the dining room to enjoy the food we'd just learned to make. I highly recommend doing this class with them.
I honestly could go on and on about our time here. It was absolute perfection and out of all of the places we stayed while in Italy, this is the one I plan to return to in the future.
