Fresh, clean and spacious accommodation surrounded with a beautiful views of vineyards about 1 mile outside of the town of Montepulciano. Freshly baked cakes each morning for breakfast. And all delivered with a smile and sincerity. We needed someone to "dogsit" for a couple of hours and the owners happily sat with them in our room. We couldn't have asked for any better attention. And would recommend this agriturismo for anyone who wants an authentic Italian bed and breakfast in the quiet countryside.

3 unforgetable nights in "La Nicchia'', just a couple of weeks ago. We still can't forget the light aroma of the white sheets when we first unfoiled our bed. Mother-care... We also can't forget the pies and cakes of the house Lady. Every morning there were new ones, fresh, delicious and above all...HOME MADE. There are few more to say about the room. Clean like home, romantically compact and so... perfect.
Having Caggiole as base we visited the beautiful and aristocratic Montepulciano (5 mins), the lovely Pienza (15 mins), Florence (50 mins), Siena (50 mins) and of course San Gimignano (1h 15 mins). Tuscany is magnificent, Caggiole made it even better.

This B&B was absolutely fantastic. The coffee and cakes in the morning were delicious and freshly made, and the family that runs it was beyond friendly. Giacomo was so helpful in giving us advice every morning on which cities to visit and where to drive and he even gave us restaurant advice for each city we visited. He was so knowledgeable and very accommodating of all of our requests. We sat out on the terrace every night sipping wine and looking at the moon and stars. I would recommend this place to any couple for a romantic getaway or to any family for its wonderfully friendly atmosphere and helpful staff.

This was our first trip to Italy and first trip to Tuscany. My wife and I stayed in the room called "Lo Stalliere" for 3 nights in late June. The view from our room was incredible - rolling hills as far as the eye could see! The nights were peaceful and relaxing, with a nice cool breeze and only the sounds of nature outside our nicely screened window.

Giacomo is very friendly and knowledgeable, and provided us with excellent suggestions for towns and restaurants to visit. He was very friendly and he and his mother, Ornella, showed a lot of passion for their Argiturismo through dedication and hard work.

Ornella makes the BEST 'torta di mele' I ever had!!!

The only thing I regret is that we didn't experience one of her fantastic dinners at Le Caggiole. We were visiting so many towns every afternoon and evening, trying to take in as much of Tuscany as possible (in 3 short days), and always returned late at night.

We will have a least one meal next time!

Staying with this wonderful family has made me feel even more proud to be of Italian descent. I wish we were still there right now!!!

Giacomo e Ornella,

Grazie per tutto. Siamo stati molto contenti del soggiorno!

Ciao!

The location was fantastic - Just outside of Montepuliciano this place has postcard scenery and an absolutely fantastic Tuscan setting.
The service was first class - Giacomo is a fantastic host! He went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
The wine is bellisimo - Giacomo's own wine produced from his vineyard is devine, you won't find any better around!

We stayed at Agriturismo le Caggiole for my birthday and the expereince was so good, we didn't want to leave - we only couldn't due to the place being booked out. We stayed in a room that overlooked the land with breathtaking views. Giacomo was kind enough to organise a birthday cake and lovely botle of Prosecco in our room waiting for us on arrival - this really set the tone for how good his service was. He booked us the best table in the nicest restaurant in town, on the main square and even organised for us to take some of his great wine with us. Ornella quite possibly makes the best cakes in Italy and makes the breakfast a treat for anyone. I would highly recomend this place to anyone wanting to expereince authentic Tuscan lifestyle and take some time out to relax and soak up the atmosphere.

I look forward to coming back in the future.

Thank you Giacomo!
