We spent six nights in the Sangiovese apartment of the Podere San Giuseppe. The apartment had a kitchen/living room, bathroom with shower and bedroom with double bed. It was well equipped, spacious and very comfortable.
Outside we had our own private terrace area with table and chairs and a barbecue.
The swimming pool is right next to one of the estate's vineyards and we enjoyed more than one bottle of Vino Nobile made exclusively from grapes grown in "our vineyard".
Elisabetta, who owns the estate, and her daughter Judy were very helpful during our stay and very kindly picked us up from the railway station when we arrived.
We didn't hire a car,so walked into Montepulciano for shopping, etc. This took about 40 minutes up a gentle incline. There is also an English speaking taxi driver,George, whom we used several times.
The estate produces olive oil as well as wine, and you can sample its produce in one of the two outlets in the town.
I would throroughly recommend a stay here.
