We stayed for 2 nights at the Hotel Mediterraneo. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations for restaurants in town & a winery tour (about 1.5 hours away by car). Breakfast was served out in the garden where a lovely lady helped us. Because of her, we started out each day with a smile! The rooms were spacious and clean. The bath in our room was beautiful, updated, clean. We felt at home, safe and welcome. The location was very good next to the park which was beautiful and peaceful, and an easy walk to town. The swimming pool was across the park at a sister hotel, but had limited hours. Being only there for 2 nights, we didn't get a chance to swim. It was a little walk across the park to the funicular up to Montecatini Alto, but not bad especially on a lovely evening. Alto has great views so bring your camera!
