We pick this hotel for a 4 night stay during May of this year because it has special offer at the time and because it suted our needs for a central position in Tuscany for exploring Florence, Sienna, Lucca, Pisa and Chianti region. As we were told that hotel has 4 stars we were very suprised when we got in our room, a superior one. The beds are too small, furniture out of date and really shabby but not in the positive wa, althought bathroom was spotless and cleaned in detail every day. Maybe 15 years ago that was 4 star hotel, but now I would give it 2 stars tops! We were dissapointed with the selection of food they served for breakfast, beeing dull and all the same every morning, dont try finding something fresh and healthy. No wifi connection available in the rooms, just the lobby and always with bad signal.
One bright thing was lady working at the reception named Andrea who gave us numerous uselful information about getting around Tuscany, where to find parking in Florence, how to see most of Chianti and directions to see Lucca, Pisa and Viareggio in just one day.

I have enjoyed my stay in late May. Hotel is situated in a good location, and has Roman thermal spa. The room on the 6th floor was spacious! Staff were friendly and the hotel is charming. Montecatini is close to Florence and Pisa.

Room Tip: 6th floor rooms are really fine.

I only spent one night in this hotel as a part of a Cosmos Tour of Tuscany. I'm pleased I didn't stay here any longer. Accommodation was very average - very basic room with dated furniture and cold as there was no heating. The included meal was very poor - very little choice and poor food. There are much better hotels in Montecatini - so look elsewhere!

This hotel should not have any star. I was in hotel with two stars in Greece, and that was better than these. I guess that there is part of hotel that is renovated, but I got room that dates back to 1970s, and nothing was changed since than. Room was mouldy. Beds were like in prison, metal with wire, and 1,70 meters long. We had to ask for towels! Bathroom also very old. From our window we were looking directly at kitchen from other hotel, so it was very smelly.

Breakfast was OK for Italian hotel. Staff on reception were very nice and helpful, but in restaurant very unpleasant. They were loud, intruding, they were taking food from our table even if we weren't done.

Location is good, but Montecatini is a small town, so I guess all hotels are close to town center.

So if you are comming to this hotel, make sure you don't get old rooms. Maybe than your stay will be okay.

Wonderful everything , just loved it. Friendly staff, nice hotel, close to everything you wsnt to visit in Tuscany. Montecatini Terme is a beautiful city with great night life. It also has natural roman thermal baths. It has great shopping and great food at very good prices.

This hotel is a short walk to restaurants and a fun sidewalk market. It is situated in a stunning location. The room was spacious with two bathrooms! Staff were courteous and the hotel is lovely. Our only regret is that we spent so little time in this lovely town as we were part of a busy Cosmos tour of Tuscany.
