“Terrific Villa 20 minutes from Venice.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013 via mobile

We absolutely loved the location, 5 minute walk to the train station, a 20 minute train ride into Venice, The staff was excellent, the breakfast was also excellent. They made a tea service for us each evening. We would come back to Villa Stucky in a heartbeat. There is also free parking at the Villa. A rare commodity in or around Venice.

The hotel is like a old villa, beautiful from the outside and inside. Got it for a very good rate, breakfast included (was average…but free). The staff was very nice and it's very easy to go to venice. But the little town itself is also nice, with some restaurants and sometimes there is a big market. Would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed in a lot of B&B's over the years but never in a place like this. You drive in through the gate and immediately hit with the fact that this place was once a beautiful villa. Not that is isn't now, the place must have been restored at some point. The high ceilings the dramatic staircase the place is loaded with Murano chandeliers. It must have cost a fortune to decorate this place, not sure if the furniture were all antiques but it was sure interesting. Our room and bath were clean and spacious the breakfast was good with a large selection. Please check out the picture with this review, its the bed we slept in. I found the staff helpful and pleasant and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed two nights in June for a Venice trip. This hotel is less than 15 minutes drive from either airports (we used Treviso) and an easy 5 minutes walk to the train station (3 stops from Venice St Lucia - 20 minutes for €4 return). Trains run until midnight from Venice. This has the feel of a large B&B family run hotel with helpful staff and a quiet peaceful location next to the central square of Mogliano Veneto. We found the hotel quiet and only partly occupied. It has big, high ceiling rooms with double doored entrances and ours had working air conditioning. Beds were firm but we liked that and slept well. The feel is very antique and 'Venetian' with lots of character - perfect for a trip to Venice. The room was clean and well equipped with a shower room. Breakfast was included and served from 7-10am, with a selection of cerials, fruit, meats, breads, pattiseries and cakes. It has free wifi which worked fine and there is a guest pc in the lobby. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fab hotel, gorgeous rooms and although boyfriend found mattress quite hard, everything else was great. Helpful desk clerk who recommended some great restaurants locally and have us train times to Venice etc. Breakfast not amazing, just standard continental but fine considering what we got elsewhere!!!

the front desk clerk was very rude , when we arrived we received zero attention , then 30 minutes after check in we came back down , wanted to just ask for a restaurant recommendation . he was talking on the phone , we waited more than 5 minutes while he clearly saw we're waiting for him , but he didn't stopped the phone call for even a second , just ignored us. finally we just left.
the bed is horrible , worst mattress I've ever slept on.
breakfast was not that good as well.

Room Tip: if they have a good mattress room , just take it
