Well, overall it is a nice hotel.
But there are some downsites..
The rooms are not very big, and there where a few things that were broken or old. The doors are not very thick, so you can hear other people in the night, if they were talking.
Its just not a very modern hotel.

But it is very beautiful building and the location is perfect for snowboarding/skiing.

And the restaurant was very good too. Very nice waiters and good food.

The Spa area was also a little less than expected, but enough for me.
So overall you should not expect a super-modernized hotel, but prepare for a nice place with a very italian feeling!

Been there for a week. The location is splendid, close to the sky slopes and not too far from restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful and polite, we enjoyed the breakfast every morning with a decent variety of food, and occasionally the dinner. For the dinner they only have a couple of choices but there are plenty of restaurants in the area to find your favourite food.
They have a great pool and a top spa, and you can book a massage session if you are willing to.
There arn't too many things we disliked, maybe the room was too small compared with the pictures, but overall it was a nice experience.
We had a nice time there, and we'll visit it again with next occasion.

Overall the hotel has a nice atmosphere and good location for accessing ski lifts, even though it's not ski in/out. Game room, pool and spa area are a nice benefit for a family vacation. Staff members could speak better English and/or some other language apart from Italian. They also ignore complaints in case of loud guests (shouting and party until 3a.m.!?). Food is really not that good and tasty, luckily children have their own menu which was mainly ok (but to serve children or any guest with frozen processed food that has nothing to do with real meat is not ok for this level of hotel!)

Room tip: poor cuisine, but nice atmosphere and location

We had the pleasure of spending Xmas (and my birthday) at this excellent hotel. Neat, clean and spacious, the rooms actually have decent beds (not always a given in that part of the world). The wellness area is amongst the best we've encountered, and despite being branded as a family resort, management policies ensure that this area remains the exclusive domain for grown ups
Where this hotel outshines many others is in the level of service received by the excellent Monzoni crew. Whatever we wanted, whoever we asked... we got a warm smile, and it was done.
A big thank you to Simona & Co at reception, to Angelo (Maitre'D), Marco, Florin, Michelle & the girls (sorry, I didn't get your names) and to Danilo (Bar man extraordinaire), as well as all the others, for making us feel at home.

Grazie mille, Ci vediamo l'anno prossimo

We stayed at Hotel Monzoni during Feb 2016 with a group of 30+ people.
The hotel has many possibilities for after ski activities; bar, pool, table tennis, game room.
The food for the adults is good but for the kids it was quite monotonous and not so good...
The staff is very nice and helpful and we enjoyed the stay at the hotel.
It is quite close to the ski system, and with a bit of off pist you can ski to within 20 meters from the hotel door.
Good areas for storing skies and boots.
Then you do not want to stay on top of the "piano bar". The hotel has very bad sound insulation so when they had events it was impossible to sleep.
