The location of the restaurant is amazing with a breath-taking view of the valley. This is a top class restaurant in terms of service and food, but it is unfortunate that they feel the need to push you to buy a full 5 course meal, wine, and anything else they have on the menu.
It offers both traditional local food and modern cuisine. As we arrived we felt very welcome and the service was prompt and attentive. They even offered us a surprise course for free (a mousse of mushrooms and bacon, which was delicious). The presentation of the food was divine and the "old fashion" waiter was actually quite amusing at first. Unfortunately they were not able to accept that we just wanted a pasta and a main course, nothing more, as we do not eat a lot in the evening. We also do not drink wine. They were not able to accept that and continued to insist in us buying a starter, wine and then really pushed for dessert (when we said no to the waitress, the other one came trying to convince us to buy one): they were so pushy that they made us feel really uncomfortable at some point, so much that they ruined the meal really.
It is such a shame as the "Filetto di Cervo" was absolutely amazing and the best meat I have ever had.
I would go again, but only if we had a different waiter who would just take our order instead of trying to be a salesman.
