Advised by our local B&B my wife and I arrived at prime dinner time and they were packed solid which I thought was a very good sign. But I was offered a dark table that was literally being hit by the bathroom doors which I refused of course (they were shocked) but indicated that I would be happy to return later. We returned in two hours, still busy but tables were available. On the way to the restroom I poked my head in the accessible kitchen door where a cook was smoking up a storm. No worries, this is Italy right? After returning to my table and being ignored I had to ask for service. Very slow to return with our drinks but this is Italy right? Than the food was served. This is Italy right? If anything the food should be good; not to be. Bland, reheated and limp. The highlight of our evening was the lemon sorbet from the slushy machine. Arrrggggggggg
