“Four days is not long enough in this gite”

Although we had a bit of difficulty with finding the location, we got there after Derek gave us ample assistant over the phone. One of those you had to be there moments! The cottage and everything about it was perfect - Derek and Margaret have not left anything out. The three of us felt very spoiled and loved the local farmer popping by to sell us fresh eggs too. Situated very close to the canal and if you want a tranquil countryside retreat - Kerneatret le Petit is just the spot.

We have many cottages, in France, and there is always room for improvement, however Le Petite was near to perfection.
A truly beautiful location, wonderful surroundings, with peace and relaxation by the bucket load.
The cottage was characterful, well equipped, beautifully appointed, upstairs toilet and bathroom, comfortable beds, furniture, bedding etc all of good quality.
The garden is beautiful attracting wild birds.
And at the end of the garden are excellent walks.
We would highly recommend a stay here

le petit has every facility you could need on holiday. Love the way the owners put in the kitchen the little things that you need and the welcome pack is pretty good too!!
The location is wonderfully tranquil and there are walks from the door.
Margaret and Derek are great hosts and are knowledgeable about the area.
The beaches nearby are unspoilt and quiet. There are plenty of things to do within 40 mins of the cottage. we particularly liked Huelgoat, Quimper and Telgruc beach and the workers cafe that margaret and derek directed us to.
All in all a great place to stay.

“Home from home in a beautiful and tranquil part of Brittany.”

Just spent a splendid week in 'Le Petit' made all the more special by the warmth and generosity of Derek and Margaret, the owners, for whom nothing was too much trouble. The gite was spotlessly clean, very comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen situated in a beautiful and peaceful location but conveniently close to the town. Upon arrival there was a generous welcome pack; wine, juice, coffee, tea, milk, bread, cereals, as well as many useful store cupboard items. There was even English TV channels to watch! To be honest a 'home from home'.
We did day trips North to the Pink Granite coastline (wonderful) and West to Pointe du Raz (for the sunset). We enjoyed riverside and country walks spotting kingfishers and deer, visited nearby interesting villages such as Huelgoat and beautiful churches (the one nearby at Moustoir is not to be missed). There is plenty to do and see and it's an ideal place for rest and relaxation with, of course, many local restaurants with lovely food and wine.
