Charming hotel, the bus stop is outside the door, it takes you to San Roma Piazza which is situated about 500 metres to the place where you catch the water taxi for Venice. You can purchase your tickets at the reception. For 16 Euros you have a day pass until 9p.m, you can hop on and off as many times as you like. They have a small convenience shop in the lobby as well as free coffee, tea or chocolate. we did not use any of the facilities but we were very happy of our stay. The only inconvenience is that for English programs on TV, you can only get BBC Sky News and CNN from the USA, they do also have a French speaking channel. As we are TV buffs, we would have liked to have seen a late movie or a good comedy show before retiring. There is quite a variety of food at breakfast, fresh fruit and different flavour of honey jam, a first for us but it is nice.

The hotel is great....... I like the size of their rooms.... The cleanliness was decent... I found some hairs on the towels.... Could have been during the drying cycle..... The room bed was very very comfortable.... The view was also nice.... The lobby restaurant was also great.... You can take a local bus from the hotel to piazza de roma and walk into venice... I would most definitely stay here again

Room Tip: Remember that its better to stay closer to the airport than venice itself.....

This is a really nice property; they've clearly put a lot of thought into making it sleek, modern, efficient and nicely arranged.

The location is good - just a few minutes from Marco Polo airport. Parking was easy, the restaurant was pretty good, etc. The rooms themselves are very cool with lots of space, well-organized and super modern. Both my buddy and I had rooms with adjoining doors to other guests' rooms that leaked sound like crazy. But thanks to polite neighbors (and a gracious lady who took off her high heels early), it didn't prove to be an issue.

The check-in process was smooth, but long. They have two people working the counter here...but that's clearly not enough. We waited about ten minutes to get checked in; I've never waited half that to check in at one of my preferred Marriott hotels.

Unfortunately, despite booking weeks in advance, the hotel gave both my travel partner and I handicapped/disabled rooms. The result: an almost unusable bathroom that included no shower curtain (instead it had a hand held shower nozzle and an arrangement that would suit someone in a wheelchair quite nicely), and handrails all around the toilet that made it nearly impossible to use.

I mentioned this to the front desk attendant, and he said: "ahh yes, you're in a handicap accessible room." That was it.

I'm not the type to get hung up on details, so I turned the bathroom into a water park the next morning.

It might be a little overpriced, but odds are that you won't be furious after your stay. It was good, bad and all around sufficient.

Room Tip: Ensure that you do NOT get an ADA/handicapped room unless you need one.

Great hotel. Modern, clean & spacious room. The reception staff took his time to explain how to get to the Venice though it was a busy time. We also got a complimentary wine sent to our room as we specified on our booking that it was our honeymoon trip.

Great bargain considering how expensive Venice is. The downside is, it is a bit far off from the "actual" Venice. You need to take a bus to cross the bridge and arrive in Venice. Though the bus stop is directly outside the hotel.

The busses were constantly full, maybe because of the fact that we stayed over the weekend.

Breakfast was disappointing. Get the food somewhere else if you need to pay extra for it.

I can't fault this hotel one bit. If your heading to Venice for a holiday then i would highly recommend you stay at this Hilton Hotel. The staff were always helpful and nothing was to much hassle. From Check in till check out there was nothing i could find to moan about. Absolutely first class.
