We stayed at this hotel the night after we arrived from a cruise at Venice Terminal and we found the hotel very convenient and their staff extremely helpful.
- great rooms also in winter good heated with convenient beds
- free secured parking at back from hotel behind a gate
- at reception you get bus tickets to Venice (3 Euro return) with bus schedule on a sheet
- Bus stop is directly in front of hotel (5m)
- Breakfast was included and for as totally sufficient

When we come back to Venice, we would stay here again!

AS noted before, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the service good and the breakfast, excellent. However, when we arranged with the hotel for their van to take us to the cruise ship, we were dropped at the ENTRANCE to the cruise port; no shuttle; so we walked (which my wife doesn't do very well) about a kilometer to the terminal where we watched other hotel buses dropping people off directly. When we complained to the Alveri, they replied, "everybody in your bus knew that was where we dropped you off; too bad you didn't"! Which wasn't true, the others were as surprised as we were, plus, the previous two times when we were taken to the terminal, we were dropped directly at the terminal. That's what happens when there is a 'change in management'!

Room tip: the street side is quieter then the railroad side

Very clean small hotel situated at mainland. Not being on the Venice islands makes this hotel reasonable and the building is modern so shower, toilet and air condition are all in good order which could be tricky if you stay in a budget hotel in Venice itself. There are a safe and a mini fridge in the room. The bar is open 24 hours and very reasonable. Venice is easyily accessed by bus. To my surprise, the buses followed the timetables accurately.
After booking the hotel, I emailed a few times asking about transport from the airport and so on and they replied promptly to assist us.
The breakfast also had a great choice.
If you are on budget side, visiting rather expensive Venice, I recommend this hotel.

Hotel was located in a quite neighborhood and easily accessible by bus. The room was small and the bathroom was even smaller. Even for an Asian like me, the shower could hardly fit me it. The reception lady was kind of rude and tactless. The hotel rate was just reasonable but I guess, you can find better hotels for the amount we paid. As a saving feature, the hotel has parking, which is an elusive feature in most Milan hotels.
