Hotel wasn't too bad to say it worked out £15 a night. It's not in Venice though where I thought I was booking buses only €1.30 to get to Venice and bus stop is right outside only took 25 mins to get there. They sell drinks all night only from a fridge at reception not a bar and there's a lidl over the road aswell which is cheaper than the hotel. A hotel is just somewhere to sleep at night doesn't matter about the decor a lot of stuck up people complaining about the wallpaper I was too busy enjoying Italy with my fiancé. Breakfast is nothing special just cakes and stuff guess that's the Italy way we just went out and ate. Staff was good aswell and the cleaner did a good job everyday. We stayed for 5 nights 3 would if been better and enough to see Venice.

Restaurants only 15 minutes walk away , mestre town centre pedestrian and walkable . Breakfast included and only £4 so good value . No tea making in room take your own . Fire alarm works as smokers set off the alarm in middle of the night .

this hotel is far from the canals of venice. we found it to be unclean. we had four rooms offered to us, and every one was unacceptable. they were cold [no heating working] beds not made up after previous occupants, mould on ceilings and walls. wallpaper coming off. no views apart from close blocks of flats and the area wasn't the best. there was stains on the bed sheets too.. staff wasn't at all helpful. our travel company moved us to a very nice hotel on the canals. lovely.

Room Tip: don't book.

My partner and I stayed four nights at the Hotel Ariston last week, and we were most impressed. Best bits; 1) Great staff, very helpful and polite - when we had a problem with the room's tv, we were moved immediately. 2) Both rooms were of good size and kept very clean and tidy. 3) Only 20 minutes from Venice max. 4) The hotel is only a short walk to some very good restaurants, which are cheaper than Venice.

Our four days in Venice was very enjoyable, and the Hotel Ariston was the perfect place to unwind and relax each night.

Thank you to all staff!
