The hotel is well located close to the Mestre railway station. When you leave the railway station turn left and walk along the main road. The hotel is in a side street about 5 minutes walk.

The room had been refurbished recently in a very contemporary style and was very clean. That was a TV with international channels, a desk and complementary toiletries

A buffet breakfast was included with a selection of cold meats, cheese pastries and bread. Only one hot drink was offered and I would have like to have been offered another tea or coffee.

Free wi fi is provided with a daily code for each device.

To get into Venice take the train which runs approximately every 15 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at any tobacconist (this avoids the long queues in the station) and cost €1.20 one way.

If you are leaving from Treviso airport as we did there are several buses which run from outside the station which cost €7 one way. If you are on a tight budget make sure you take some food and drink to the airport as it is very expensive. We found a small cafe across the road which was much cheaper. Beware the airport is small and the queues through customs were long. When waiting to board there is limited space and people were forced to queue on the stairs which was dangerous and not very pleasant in the heat.

LOL. the title sounds funny but yeah hotel paris has got a pretty boyish and young owner called Carlos. He runs the hotel from the evening till the next morning while his dad does the day shift.
Apart from staying in a hotel owned by this gorgeous man (Italian men are just good looking in general so well :p), everything else was pretty good. We took a doppia junior which essentially means tiny small room however it wasnt as tiny as we thought. Staff were really polite and efficient.
Really good choice and value for money choice (i think the other hotels in mestre are slightly more ex than hotel paris) and what's more you get to ogle at the cute owner :) LOL (just kidding)

Room Tip: Doppia junior room will only be good for those who are okay with a smaller room

I am glad I picked this hotel. just left the place this morning, and I have to say I had no conplaints at all. The rooms are new and comfortable, bathroom a bit squishy and basic amenities (but brand new) and spotless and the breakfast was fantastic. Filled us up for the better part of the day without spending a lot on food in expensive Venice. The staff (especially Zahir at the reception) was extremely helpful. Help me print my itinerary for no charge and did all the work to organise an early breakfast for us.
Cant ask for more from this place. Excellent price, great people, good food and only 5 minutes from Venice Santa Maria Station by train. Go for it and splurge your hard earned money on the more fancy stuff in Venice

We booked this hotel based on information on Booking.com stating 'Free! Wi-fi is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge'. Unfortunately it does not go further and explain that it is only for one device and not multiple devices per room. As a couple on an extended trip, we are constantly using both our iPhones as well as a netbook to book future accommodation/transport etc., so this was an inconvenience for us. I made this point to the reception staff member to which she replied that I could buy additional wifi access passes at 5 Euro a pop. I further made the point that the website was misleading and that I would leave a review reflecting this. An hour later I received a call in my room from Booking.com who explained that the hotel had contacted them and conceded their error and would honour what was stated on their website. Whilst I was puzzled that the hotel didn't approach us directly, I was satisfied with the outcome. The next day however we arrived back from a day in Venice and asked a different staff member for our three wifi passwords (as they are only valid for 24 hours) and was informed that the staff member which we had dealt with the previous day had instructed him to only provide us with just the one password? Bizarre. Ensuring I would discuss the situation with the manager the following morning, the staff member kindly provided us with the passwords.

For us the main draw card of Mestre over Venice was cost. When you start eroding away this advantage by trying to charge 10 Euro for internet, on top of the 5 Euro return train ticket for a couple, Venice starts to look more attractive. Something to consider when making your choice.

Aside from the above scenario, the hotel itself is quite nice. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is located very close to the train station and the breakfast is adequate with friendly breakfast staff.

Note: the above situation is the fault of the hotel and not Booking.com

Very friendly staff - rooms small but beautifully decorated - this was my second time in the hotel. Very convenient for the train station - and the train to Venice takes at most 8 minutes. Nice and quiet and comfortable bed. I will go back to this hotel when I next visit Italy. Convenient for the bus service from the airport.

This was a great hotel to stay at if picking the cheaper option of staying in Mestre as opposed to Venice itself. Its nice and close to the train station and the staff is friendly enough. The room is comfortable and clean. The free breakfast in the morning was great, and the staff makes you a nice fresh cup of coffee to go with it. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Mestre.

This is a great mid market hotel with perfect location- only few minutes from the train station with frequent trains to Venice.
Surrounding area is quite and feels safe. Rooms are newly and tastefully refurbished with spacious bathrooms. Breakfast is of a very good quality.
Staff all around very friendly and helpful. Great alternative to expensive Venice hotel. Will truly recommend.
