A good place to make as a starting point into Venice, easy access to transportation going to Venice proper. Very near the train station w/ is across the street. Reasonable priced, helpful staff, great breakfast buffet.

We stayed at the Tritone Hotel for an overnight stay prior to our cruise and were very happy with our experience. We found the hotel welcoming and the reception staff friendly and helpful. The lobby was always stocked with coffee and fresh pastries which was a very nice touch. The rooms alhough on the small side were clean and comfortable. All the arrangements we had made for pickup at the airport and transport to the port the next day all ran very smoothly. The driver was waiting at the airport with a card with our name on it. He even waited for us as our flight was delayed. The driver that was arranged to take us to the port the next morning was a pleasure. Breakfast was very nice in their cozy resturant. Food was ample and delicious. Just around the corner from the hotel we found the grocery store where we stocked up on wine/water and coca cola to take onboard the ship. We would stay at this hotel on any return trip to Venice and recommend it highly to anyone wanting a friendly atmosphere in a convenient location across from the train station. Great place for a pre or post cruise stay or any stay in Venice. A very happy experience, Thank you

We spent one night at the hotel prior just after arriving in town and prior to departing on a cruise ship. The rooms were small and simple, but perfectly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also nice.

As we arrived at the hotel, it appeared to be in a "sketchy" part of town, but in truth was just off a main street that wasn't terribly tourist-y, which was a nice option. Bus ride into Venice - with the stop directly across the street - was about 10 minutes.

But the best option was that if you're a jet-lagged traveler, you can take the taxi directly from the airport to the hotel without having to navigate the canals and bridges. And you can also walk across the street to grab a taxi at the train station, which will take you directly to the cruise ship - and this turned out to be a superior option than what was available to my shipmates staying in Venice, who complained about the long walk to the pier.

So while I prefer to stay in Venice for an extended period of time (and that's just a matter of preference), this hotel was a perfectly fine option for "just passing through."

We spent 3 nights with my girlfriend at Hotel Tritone. Location is really handy to save few euros rather than a hotel in Venezia itself as you could get a train every 10 min with the train station located 2 minutes from the hotel. Staff is really nice and the breakfast is what we were expected with a large choice. I would recommend it to some friends

This hotel is perfectly situated near the train station in Mestre so one can visit beautiful places in the Veneto region. Bus for Venice just outside hotel and only takes 5 minutes to reach Venice.
Free coffee & pastries upon arrival, breakfast very nice and the rooms very updated and clean.
Lovely staff, this was our 3 rd time here as we love Venice and will go back again.
