Our hotel clerk said it was not a 'restaurant', but a fast food joint. It is neither, but more like a fancy cafe. We has mussels with spaghetti and fried zucchini & calamari. Both dishes were very good, but arrived a few minutes apart. We had good service, despite other reviews, and we were seated immediately. Price was about €36 with one desert - about a third less of what you will pay in Venice!

Great food and service. Loved the fact that you could see your food being cooked. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the following night and they did not disappoint the second time either!!

We had read about the Soul Kitchen before we visited as we were staying in the Hotel Bologna opposite. After returning from Venice on our first night we decided to give the place a try as it was so close to the hotel. Lazy of us but after a long day in Venice we just wanted to relax. The place is certainly well laid out and although not intimate it has a certain ambience. I am not usually a sea food fan either but decided to go for their sea food spaghetti and must say it was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. Extremely tasty and plenty of it I may add. This was an absolute treat, washed down with a few lagers. In all the service was first class and there was no pressure for us to finish our meal. A great relaxing way to end the day. We were also pleasantly surprised when the bill came and we all found the cost extremely reasonable. Certainly a lot better than the restaurants across in Venice. Afterwards it was also a short stroll across the road into our much deserved bed. The Soul Kitchen was superb and a restaurant I could easily recommend. Great service, great food, a relaxed atmosphere and all at a very good price. Well done.

This was recommended by our hotel reception for a lunch, it was so good we ate there one night as well. Good for vegi food, try their toasted vegi sandwich.

I had a ham and mozzarella sandwich. It was quite good. I'd eat there again. They also have free wifi, but you have to ask for the password. It was quite busy and very popular a place.
