I visited Moro on recommendation of the consierge of my hotel. He was right about the quality of the food. This restaurant clearly wasn't a tourist trap; on the contrary, virtually everybody except me seemed to be local Italians. When you see the locals frequenting a restaurant, you generally can count on the quality of the food there.

This is a very small restaurant, with perhaps fewer than 10 tables available. The owners serve the food, I think. The wine list is sufficiently good, with modest prices on the bottles. Now, the food was impeccable. I really recommend the Ravioli there, which is of course handmade. I ordered the same dish again later on. Pasta was very good, too, but then again, many restaurants serve good pasta noodles.

The location is very near the train station, so anyone staying at Best Western Bologna or The Plaza should really pay a visit. I think you'll like it.

The restaurant was recommended by the desk lady at out hotel. A short walk and we were there. The Staff is very welcoming. I ate the baruta ravioli which was great, my wife had the tomato and olive spaghetti and she loved it. Vino del case was good. Overall 35€ for two persons.

Mestre is nowhere near as 'touristy' as Venice. We have been to Moro , a delightful family owned and run restaurant, several times over the years. The quality of the food is excellent - authentic and tasty dishes. Everything is prepared with care and pride in what they do! You will not be disappointed. The service is both professional and friendly. You will be treated with good old fashioned Italian hospitality. The prices are fair. Really - don't miss it!

We made a reservation for the next evening as they were full when we tried to go for dinner one night. Excellent gnocchi. Great service. Would recommend.
