Great hotel, would highly recommend it for travellers looking for a hotel that's well located with great service. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. It is located close to the rail station with good transport links into Venice. All in all great value and experience.

We stayed two nights here to see Venice having just come off a cruise. Lugging suitcases from the ship to the train station in Venice was a bit of an ordeal (stepped bridge over canal!). However it was a cheap train journey to Mestre, 10 mins - virtually all trains out of Venice stop at Mestre. The hotel is easy to find, straight out of station, cross road and go straight for about 200yds and you are there. Really helpful staff, early check in, clean modern room though not large and acceptable breakfast. Travelling into Venice is easy, by train, or even easier by bus, no2 20yds from hotel. Buy a pass, 12,24,36, etc hours and you can use it for bus and water buses in Venice - great value 36hrs for 25 euros. Area around hotel is full of Asian men standing on street corners, but didn't feel at all threatened. Good little chafes and pizzerias close by. Frequent dedicated bus service to airports from next to railway station. Would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Hotel Aaron is a great place to stay as a base for Venice. Close (about 15min walk) from the Mestre bus drop off point from airport. Bus stop for venice is close and takes about 20mins to get into Venice. Also close to the rail station.
Rooms/showers are small, but more than enough space for a comfortable stay. Rooms are clean, contemporary and nicely decorated.
Very friendly check in and check out, and helpful staff.
The area near the hotel as stated on other reviews feels uneasy, but never saw any trouble and this should not put you off staying at the hotel.
All in all great value and clean hotel, with great cheap transport links to Venice.

A small hotel-just 0 rooms. Friendly ,helpful staff. My room was small but comfortable, well-designed with fridge,t.v. air-con and safe. Bathroom excellent-lots of hot water and clean towels daily if required. Very clean, nice decor. Breakfast good value for 6 euros. Local shops and eating places plentiful and good value. Hotel only 200 m from railway station and a few m from no 2 bus to P.de Roma for vaporetta into centre of Venice. Would recommend a 72 hr pass for buses and vaporettas- we saved a fortune! Both always crowded but ran frequently. Happy to recommend this small hotel.

Room Tip: choose a room preferably not on ground floor-could be quite dark.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights on our last part of our honeymoon. The room was a good size and modern but there were a few problems we had. We did inform reception but not alot was done about it and we were not told about why things couldnt be fixed etc. On the first morning we realised that the shower head didn't actually match or fit in the shower holder so we have to hold it while showering and the sink plug was broken. We took out the plug as it wouldn't drain otherwise. The temperature in the room was hot and we found out that you had to get permission from reception to turn it down and you also had to get a key for the safe from reception as well. The hotel staff were not the quietest of people in the morning so if you want a lie in then I suggest bringing earplugs. The floors are all wooden so we understand that you can hear peoples foot steps but the cleaning staff didn't even try and be quiet they would throw down thier mop buckets and have a good old chat outside our door. Luckily we were out most of the day and location wise the hotel is perfect but we are not sure about the rooms. The staff fixed a browken wardrobe but nothing was said about the sink or shower so we just carried on. Not sure if we would stay again.

The hotel is very clean, helpful staff, decent breakfast of croissants, fruit, yoghurt, coffee. The hotel is 10 mins walk from mestre station which is 10 mins on the train from Venice (only 1.20 Euro) When returning late at night the area looks quite bad with a few prostitutes around and young men sat in the dark parks. By day it is fine. To be fair we never had any problems.

We used to stay only 1 night, Good hotel with free parking till morning on the street, or you can park at their places for a fee. Actually was cheap and everything was ok! I have to write 200 characters but I have nothing more to say :)
