“Hard work but worth it!”
Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

Lovely secluded little bay only accessible by path. It took us an hour to walk there & the same back from Neranto. The path is steep & rocky in places but it is such a beautiful spot that it is worth the hard work. Wear good shoes & take plenty of water. Agree with the previous comment that the path up is a killer in the heat.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

The little bay is not easy at all to reach, you need to follow a rocky path going from the hill to the sea level (and back!). The bay is part of a WWF protected area and this is why you can only reach it on foot or by boat (not motorboats).
Make sure you have comfortable shoes with a good grip especially if you are not used to trekking (that was my case!!). The view along the way is really breathtaking. You end up in the bay where you can swim - though sometimes in summer water is not perfectly clean because of the sea current.

“Take a deep breath and free the heart”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

if there is the most beautiful place in the world is certainly Ieranto Bay, a blue eye that enters in your heart. The water is fresh, clear and blue. The rocks, very steep are adorned with olive trees and Mediterranean shrubs. There are little mysterious places, where suddenly and without explanation, the foot accelerates and the heart gallops. There is a relaxing walk of three quarters of an hour from the charming village of Nerano.
