..there are some drawbacks. First the good things; Food, first class, both at lunchtime & evenings. Breakfast was good, but a bit samey if you are there for a few days. Staff: Serving & front of house staff very friendly and accommodating (but make sure you keep track of what you've had, their record keeping is pretty chaotic). Rooms: basic and a bit shabby but clean. Views: Virtually everywhere around the hotel offers stunning views.
Not so good: The living accommodation is on various levels of a pretty steep hillside, so no good for the elderly or infirm. While the swimming area was nice, it is a mission to get to. Rooms badly in need of modernisation & some pretty basic DIY.
Despite this being a rural location, as in the rest of the Naples area, you have to watch your personal security.
We are not likely to visit the area again, however would recommend this for a 2 or 3 night stay in a longer iterary.More
