Fantastic holiday in a fantastic place! The sea view was breath-taking, food amazing, rooms clean, walking distance from the beach, staff exquisitely kind and extremely friendly, plenty of beautiful places to go to and plenty of things to see around. With lots of walks and wonderful coastal scenery, away from the busiest tourist centers you can find in some of the other parts of the Amalfi coast. Best place to chill out with family and friends. What else can you ask for?? Mostly recommended!!!

Our 7 days were very nice, so italian and relaxing. We had nice small appartment with terrace and PERFECT sea view. People in the village were very friendly and helpfull. In the Marina are few ristorantes with famous but expensive Maria Grazie. Lovely and romantic place, especially now, on the end of touristic season.

When I was young we spend our family-holiday in Villaggio Nettuno for nearly 15 times. It was always an impressiv time and we came back to Germany with a lot of deep emotions.
After a intermission of about 15 years and seeing many places in Europe, I come back to Villaggio Nettuno this year. And I was so impressed, I won’t leave anymore.
The landscape with ‘monti e mare’ is the most beautiful place I ever seen.
The hiking trails, for example to the bay of Jeranto, are so nice. Along the way always a green paradise with flowers and herbes
From the beach I make some snorkel excursions and I was impressed to see the underwater wolrd. I have seen morays, Pinna nobilis, calamaries an many more
Villggio Nettuno is the right place to enjoy the surrounding of the coast and I feel comfortabel to be here. Surely I’m giong to come back next year

We decided to run away after we had a discussion to the terrible macho man running in the camping with his folkloristic vespa and giving direction about where to stay. He put us in the sun and in a inclined terrain, we just move few meters in front of us in order to be more conformable with our van(it was 8pm so almost night) and once he came back, he started to be really nasty to us, for what we did, he didn't accept any of our reason, so we run away and we found a lovely camping just above this one where people were very nice, our spot was under beautiful olives tree and the bathroom was just for us, lovely night looking at the see,in this other camping village they do have even a private beach, such a lovely place, with easy going people and we spent 8 euros less.

Thanks for your review. The REAL problems and the TRUE STORY, it was that the man (the macho man as you write) responsible of the places in the camping (nice guy that work with us from many years and very appreciate from all the guest...with compliments that we receive daily for his job.....) say you to stay in a place (the ONLY PLACE AVAILABLE at that moment for your van, cause you come without reservation), and you move 2 TIMES to other places that are reserved....!!

Places with a nice view on the sea (places that we have for sure....the other places we don't know!!!)

Thna you go away.

This is the TRU STORY!!!

We appreciate very much the nice way of work of our man in the camping and he is a nice person with EVERY GUEST!!!

After seeing reviews I was looking forward but very dissapointed!
No Toilet Paper
No Toilet Seats
Muddy Pitches and packed tightly to your neighbours.
We went down to the beach for a swim and found a Filthy Dirty Beach with Rubish, Rotten Fish and Toilet Paper on the beach.
After seeing the beach we decided to move on. It was 12.50 when I checked out and was advised Check out was at 11 so had to pay for half a day. I accepted but let them know I wasn't told a check out time and this info wasn't on the csmpsite information leaflet they gave me. I then asked to use my 10% Magic Camping Member discount and was rudely told I couldn't use it as I was late checking out.
I found the girl to be very rude.

To make things worse I sent the campsite an email and had an extremely rude and unproffesional response and was threatened that if I put a review anywhere on the Internet they would be responding! I think it would be good for people to see this response if its anything like the email I just received.

We moved 10km away to another camp. Great swimming pool, bar, service, cleaner toilets! Much better view, much nicer pitches, beach access and only a 10 min walk from Sorrento.

Me and my friends travelled there in june, when it was not fully booked. Great place to stay with friends and to make one day trips around this area. (Amalfi, Capri, Sorrento, Vesuvius etc.) Bungalows have amazing views to the sea. The beach is with stones, but You can also rent a chairs there if You dont want to lie on the stones.

Great staff(helpful, friendly) and great value for this price. They do have their own little store, where You can buy product that are essential.

Best if You travel by car.

Amalfi coast & Capri - i tried to get the very best accommodation with close quiet beach with good connection to Capri. Then i found Villaggio Nettuno, the camping & premium Torre Turbolo accommodation with supermarkets, bars, restaurant and even a diving centre. Camping is very nice, most of the bungalows with sea view (i stayed here 1 night). Torre Turbolo is the same owner. Youll be living in medieval fortress tower - which you can spot several from a boat, just guarding the coast line (i spent here 2 night). Beach is literally below the camp, Capri trips cheaper than from Sorrentino, beautiful bay view - much better than trying to catch sth in Amalfi or Positano, or even a Traiano where you just cant park your car.
Notable plus - staff speaks very good both english & german, which is sth you cant say about the rest of the italy.
Maybe i sound like overrating this place, but i loved it. Hope youll be leaving with the same feeling.

Tips: go to Capri, ask for Ieranto bay beach (amazing & hidden), try local Limoncello (sweet lemon liquor with nice headeach)

Room Tip: torre turbolo if its free
