“Authentic Italian family run farm”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2013

This tour was the highlight of my and my fiancées trip to Sorrento in September 2013.
There was a relatively large (15-20) group of German tourists on the trip, they had a separate translator. Eugenio, one of the sons, was our guide for the day and what an excellent guide he was. You can tell this is a really well run farm. The explanations on each of the different processes such as the making of buffalo mozzarella and how to make a graft of a lemon tree were very interesting. The food was absolutely delicious. They respect the traditions of making each thing. The pizzaria was just down the road in the small town of Schiazzano. It was great fun making the pizza dough.

I would like to sign off by wishing Eugenio and his comrades the best of luck in the upcoming world Tug-of-war championships taking place from the 19th - 23rd of February in Mayo, Ireland.

“One of a kind experience...”

This was truly one of the highlights of our trip! Eugenio, Benny, Lucio, Maria and grandma all made this an incredible experience! The tour of the lemon groves, the tastings of oils, wine, cheese, lemons, and limoncello, the making of the mozzarella, dancing and singing while tossing pizza...just amazing! The entire tour group made us feel so warm and were very welcoming. A must do!

“Perfect way to spend a perfect day in Italy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

We had so much fun with Eugenio and his family learning about the history of their family farm, how they grow their lemons and other vegetables. You can see the passion that they have for their food, naw they have been doing it for four generations. Benedetto's demonstration of how he makes cheese and sausage was quite interesting and tasty too. The Provolone del Monaco is delicious. The pizza making was really fun with Lucio, with throwing the dough and singing and clapping thrown in too. Of course, getting to eat the pizza we made was terrific. Finally, the homemade Limoncello tasting was a great way to end the night. We would recommend this to anyone who loves to learn about local foods, and we thought it was a great value too. Our group of four gives it eight thumbs up!

“Good food, good company, great experience!”

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Sorrento! Eugenio and his family, along with their neighbours Benedetto and Lucio, were extremely warm and welcoming, as well as very knowledgeable about their products and the processes involved in making them. We were highly entertained while learning about the local specialities. Other reviewers have explained the tour very well, so I won't repeat those details. I do want to stress how original this experience was, how much fun we had, what good value the tour gives in that you definitely won't leave hungry, and that it was time very well spent. This is not one of those huge group tours - it was only my husband and me, so we could ask as many questions as we wanted, and this is what makes the tour very specialized and tailored to the people taking it. It felt like spending a day with family! My husband and I recommend this tour very highly!

La ringrazio molto Eugenio, la vostra famiglia, Benedetto e Lucio per un giorno non potremo mai dimenticare!
