Fabulous experience. Home base for Capri, Amalfi coast, Sorrento and more. Experienced organic lemons, grapefruits, oranges and more. Clean quiet rooms. Great Italian three course dinner very modest price. I am going back. you must experience to really appreciate. A real Italian experience and No tourist traps. Molto bene. Ciao

My family and I just returned from Italy and were fortunate to have stayed at La Lobra. The setting was beautiful, we were surrounded by trees that were drooping with lemons, and at night the area was sparkling with fireflies. It has a rustic and secluded feel, but is a short walk from town (shops, restaurants, etc), and is well serviced by buses going to Sorrento (which makes day trips very easy). It provided a very peaceful (and much needed) break from the hustle and bustle of our touristy day-trips to Capri, Pompeii, Sorrento, Positano and Naples

Dinner was absolutely delicicious, the hosts were great, and happy to accomodate vegetarians. If being woken up to the sound of roosters bothers you, this may not be the place for you, but we absolutely loved it.

My two friends and I stayed here for two nights. The grounds and rooms were fantastic, very rustic and cute, with a nice view and had a very home feel.

I was able to park in the garage on the first night and had street parking the second night. It was very close to the Harbour.

Breakfast was minimal but I learned that this was the standard for these types of hotels in Italy.

My only real complaint about La Lobra was the man who was running it during our stay. While he did not go out of his way to be unfriendly or overtly rude he was not a pleasant man. Having gotten lost one night because of a festival in Sorrento that closed down roads we were late for dinner. We offered our appologies when arriving but were treated with a cold attitude and felt like we were children who had upset their parents.

I do understand that this is a type of farm so animals are expected. However, I was not a fan of the late night dog barking and very early morning consistent rooster calls.

I would stay here again if I was in the area but more cheery management would go a long way.

The location is beautiful, and our room was very nice except for the ant invasion when the rains came. The room was comfortable, and the daily bed making and cleaning was not expected. We did have two evening meals there. One of which was outstanding. The cook was unavailable for other evenings. There are restaurants within walking distance available on those occasions. The real disappointment was the breakfasts. Very little food of interest. There was always two slices of cake with bread and zwieback also available. Coffee was also served, but that was it! For the price of the room, there should have been more, and this was our first experience of such a meager start to the day. The staff was great in getting our luggage to our room and back down at the end of our stay. We did have a garage in which to park which is another plus. Overall a good experience that could be great with just a few changes.

Room Tip: The rooms in the upper, separate building have a nice view.

We stayed here for only for 3 nights over Easter and found this accommodation comfortable with great friendly family environment.
On arrival in Massa we parked the car up outside and had our luggage carried to our generous sized quad room with flat screen TV large bathroom, balcony at the front and gardens to the rear.
My daughter loved exploring the gardens with chickens, roosters, turtles, goldfish all surrounded by the most amazing lemon and olive trees with beautiful flowers.
Breakfast was continental with fresh baked cakes and bread with homemade marmalades.

Location.
5 minutes walk downhill from Marina Della Lobra harbour where you can get coastal boat trips, Angelo's Bar (the best sunset in the area) and Da Michelle's Pizzeria wonderful local food at a great price. Nice little footpath for a coastal rock stroll after lunch.
In summer its great place to go swimming as there are several bathing points and access to the sea.
Only down points was the weather and early morning the shower was freezing.
Would definitely recommend and may well return this summer.

Brilliant for independent travellers and walkers.

Room Tip: Room 4 is enormous and a quad with balcony and good size. The cockerel in the morning maybe annoying...

We have just returned from spending four nights at Agriturismo La Lobra at the end of our honeymoon in Southern Italy and would reccommend it to anybody looking for a base to explore the area but who dosn't want to be right in the middle of the holiday mayhem on the Amalfi Coast or Sorrento. Friendly, helpful staff, good location (Sorrento and Amalfi Coast easy to get to) and spacious and clean rooms. La Lobra offer home cooked evening meals for 20euro pp which were very tasty and are served in the dinning area surrounded by lemon trees, very nice. All in all a nice, friendly place to stay, in a quiet location and at a good price.
