First of all, I'm thankful to the family running this agriturismo, for a wonderful time I had there.
I wanna go back to stay longer time and even live there!
Surrounded by lemon and olive trees, away from traffic load. Silent and peaceful. I met Manma, Farther, Son and 4cats + 1tiny dog.
The very clean room I stayed has a Mt.Vesvious and sea view, and it was interesting to see them in different moment.
As far as no car license, we need to walk down to the road and catch a bus (1-3 buses in 1hr, depending on time).
Day 1: Arrival in evening, had dinner made by manma.
Day 2: After breakfast, joined Amalfi&Positano cruising tour from Marina Lobra. Went to Sorrent by bus to seeing around and had dinner there.
Day 3: Joined Capri cruising tour. Went back to home and had a local cooking lesson by Manma.
Day 4: Left towards Marina del Cantone by bus.
I'd recommend you to have a dinner made by manma at least once, learn the local food cooking and walk around outside in the morning/sunset time.
Only one thing, since the breakfast menu was exactly same for 3times, it would be nicer if there is a variation for breakfast (something different than last time).
Anyway, I loved their homemade lemon jam and Salsiccia so much.
- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
- The Garden of Vigliano is a peasant house , the walls of which oozes a feeling of harmony and serenity during the day , in fact , it is not difficult to see Peppino , a true master in the art of terracotta nativity scene and tuff , and is intent on shaping shepherds , things seem plausible to people in the flesh . There are few guest rooms ( located inside the large building that once functioned as a watchtower ), but this is an advantage because you can get more in relationship with the family and the surrounding environment. The Garden is not far from town known throughout the world for their beauty as Positano, Amalfi and Sorrento , definitely worth a visit . Even within the coast you can make interesting excursions : in fact , not far from Vigliano , is Villa Rossi with the church dedicated to Our Lady of Charity painted by Guido Reni, who lived between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries , and also known to be the place where the English Admiral Hudson Lowe, after the battle of Capri , surrendered to Joachim Murat , King of Naples from 1808 to 1815 . ... more less
