It is the third time that we have visited this hotel. Greatly situated right in the city center of Marsala, when you are lucky you have a balcony with view on the cathedral. Beautiful restored city center which is car free and great for a stroll or shopping. Near some great restaurants. Extremely helpful and hospitable staff who speak English well. Park your car for free near the hotel in a garage. Good continental breakfast and very well priced. 10 minutes from the beach by car!

I stayed here for one night. This hotel is hard to find, in an extremely narrow lane. But it's right in the city center, near the Mother Church. Room is fairly clean but small. The wall is very thin and you can hear running tap, shower and every other noise from the next room! The breakfast is very minimal. For the price, I would consider it to be very expensive!

We spent 3 nights in Marsala with a group of friends. The stay in hotel Stella d'italia was very good. Friendly and good service, allways willing to help you to arrange what you want.
Great value for the money . Breakfast was ok . Comfortable and very large rooms with clean bathrooms
Location in the middle of town but they park your car in a save place.

This hotel is a little gem, and for the price, it's a great value. We stayed here one night during a recent vacation in Sicily. Yes, it is challenging to find the hotel. That's how it is with nearly all small European towns! But our Garmin got us there, and the hotel staff promptly took care of our car. We had rooms on the 4th floor. At first, the rooms seemed a bit tiny...until I walked out onto the private patio...WOW. We had a breathtaking view of the nearby cathedral. We could hear voices wafting up from the cathedral square. We could also see one of the historical archway entrances into the town. This will remain one of the most memorable hotel rooms of my life, for certain, owing to that rooftop view. The hotel is in a very convenient location, and within walking distance of numerous interesting restaurants. We went to one recommended by the front desk staffperson and it was perfect for us.

I'm not sure there is a lot to do in Marsala. We used this as an overnight stop after picking up our rental car at the Palermo airport and visiting Erice. Erice is a "must see"! Take the cable car up to the town for a fabulous view!

My only disappointment with the hotel is that its website touted its great wine cellar. When I went to the bar to purchase wine for cocktails on our patio, I was first told there was no wine list. Surely this was a communication error as my Italian is very limited. I have high praise for all staff members at the hotel. They were very friendly and willing to help in any way possible to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

Room Tip: Try to get one of the rooms on the 4th floor with a private patio -- priceless view of the local cat...

Excellent location right in the heart of Marsala. We only stayed one night- there's not a great deal to do/see in town- it's nice enough to wander around- so I wouldn't recommend a lengthy stay.

Well-maintain, very clean room; nice bathroom with full bath. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was great- lots of choice.

A bargain for the price.

We arrived in Marsala on the 31st of jully. Found this hotel and visited a room that would sleep 3 people. Well what a surprise! For 3 people, we got a room on the 3rd floor that slept 2 on a double bed and in a sperate room in the same hotel room, another room with 3 single beds. A total of 5 persons could sleep in the room. I would see this room well fit for a familly with 3 children as the couple could have intamacy while the 3 children are in their room! The wash room was very nice all in marble. As for the hotel employees, just the best you could find. Total price for one night for 3 people, 120 euros! A darn good deal for a hotel that is one of the best i've seen jn its 4 star category! And your car is valet parket in a privat secure garage 50 meters away. I'll give this hotel an 8 on a 10 scale.

This is a nice hotel in the very heart of the historic city of Marsala. Be aware he the hotel is located on a pedestrian only street and is difficult to drive to the hotel provided parking spaces. The sacrifice is worthwhile as you are within walking distance of all this little town has to offer. The town is very small so don't expect much nightlife other than the typical Italian "passeggiata" - light night promenade, by the locals.

Hotel has all the conveniences and more than you would expect from a Best Western. Rooms were large and well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
